5 ★I got the ultimate package which not only increases performance on my PC and my Android but also provides internet security. It was a great choice and I would highly recommend it. Well worth the money. The only problem I have is the driver updater is not included. Keeping the drivers up to date is a crucial part of increasing your PC performance and the fact that it is not included in the "Tune Up" portion of the ultimate package is unfortunate and in a way kind of misleading to not have it.
5 ★Excellent app. Does what it promises. Simple and easy to use. One button press and tons of freed memory appear. Using a Lifeline (Obama) phone with 16 GB internal memory, was constantly having problems until I installed the app. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Upgraded to new phone, had to pay again for upgrade! AVG Anti-virus verified subscription and upgraded automatically. Watch out for this glitch(?)
1 ★Update 1/8/21 whatever they did in the last update killed the app. No longer puts app to sleep, screen freezes when you use the boost function. Absolutely horrible now. I like the optimization that's been added over time. Simply select apps and select what you want AVG to do. Hibernate apps to save battery life or clear cache to clean up space and it does everything else for you. Even letting you know what apps you don't use or old files so you can delete the stuff that's just taking up space.
1 ★Do not download this app! I've used avg cleaner for years and thought it was good security for my phone. Made the mistake of accidentally granting permission for it to have access to my photos and videos so when it did a "quick clean" it erased all my photos and videos! Yes it was a mistake on my part to not back them up but AVG doesn't have any sort of recovery feature if something like this happens. Also an article released last year shows just how useless and dangerous cleaner apps can be.
5 ★best program hands down. there are many programs out there. I have tried many of them. this one gives me just what I wanted. it is automatic, since I have no idea what all needs done, yet it does provide just enough feedback and control so I know I'm not screwing anything up. the photos and videos comparison. optimization, and save/deletion are outstanding. never seen a program like it.
5 ★AVG Cleaner, in my opinion is the best cleaning app on the market that has a basic FREE version that is GREAT! Of course, you can always upgrade, but I found that the basic version is just great for my Samsung Galaxy phone....Not too many ads, thank goodness, but if they offer a 30 day trial for the premium version, then I would subscribe...My device wasn't cheap, nor super expensive but I like to keep it running efficiently for the money I paid for it...I would definitely recommend this!
1 ★Doesn't work anymore. The cleaner use to work better on hibernating apps. My battery runs down in a matter of about 4 hours. On both phones we have it on. We have had the ultimate package for several years. No it is not my batteries. The app slows down my phone and on my computer. Not a good buy. Will be looking for better software. The free app worked better than the paid version.
4 ★Very useful, does absolutely everything needed. Also includes VPN and more if you get the joined app (AVG Antivirus). The only drawback is features that you have to pay for the better features, but I understand it. You don't necessarily have to pay for anything to get a good experience though. The other thing is that navigating the app can be a little confusing but I really just use the notifications I get to clear stuff so in the end it's not that bad. I would definitely recommend it!
1 ★Just unloaded this app AGAIN. It has a unique way of indicating that is cleaning...goes through the motions of cleaning..shows you exactly how much data that you just freed up. When you arrow back to the cleaning page, you see that it hasn't done anything at all. It's like that co-worker of yours who always looks busy...and never does anywork at all
1 ★AVG doesn't work at all. I want to stop apps but only SLEEP MODE comes up. I try to use it but nothing stops. It says to turn it on in settings but it is on. In settings it shows the app isn't working properly with an i in a circle. The cleaner doesn't clean anything at all. This is a paid subscription. I have contacted your colleagues and get the same answer each time. Now my subscription has ran out. I did not get what I paid for.
1 ★April 8, 2021. This app does not work as advertised. I used to like this cleaner. AVG no longer allows you to clean hidden cache without a subscription like it did previously. But with a subscription the automatic cleaning doesn't work correctly. I worked with support who doesn't appear to know how their app works and can't make it work. They told me I still have to do manual cleaning, even though I paid for automatic cleaning. What? Talk about going in circles. So I cancelled my subscription.
2 ★Wow, really AVG?? This app is loaded with tons of ads mixed into everything. It put a little button on my screen & I could not get rid of it so I un-installed it. Good riddance. They want you to pay for the better features & get rid of the wretched ads monthly. Not happening with me. I understand needing funds but they're going about it the wrong way in my opinion. Too annoying for me. I think I'm being generous giving it 2 stars.
