3 ★I am giving the free version 3 stars only because the app will send notifications constantly to do things that require the premium version. I'm not trying to get that serious with it at this time so I'm happy with what it is doing already. The ads don't bother me since it's an antivirus, press scam walk away. Anyway, nice little app but if you're bothered by the constant sales pitch. Beware. I understand that it costs to make and up keep the app, I expected ads. Just not Soo many.
2 ★Slows down my cell. It seems that since I installed the paid app, it is affecting the performance of my Pixel. The speed between apps has slowed down. Opening apps is delayed. It's annoying you have to hit a button in the app several times before the operation you are trying to perform. Or at times, have to close out the app and start over. Not worth paying for an entire year, in advance. Save your money.
5 ★This app is very easy to use. The color scheme is easy on the eye. And the features that are provided with the ultimate subscription is all you will need in an anti-virus app. Each feature is very easy to use and gives you a full explanation of what was conducted as far as the scan or anyting that was found. The protection is quite amazing! thank-you AVG **Update** I have downloaded the premium packages apps on my other and instantly I was hacked and had to get this new phone. Any advice?
2 ★Don't buy the paid version of the app thinking it will stop the ads...it won't. I can't find a way to kill the ads without deleting the app. I do not recommend. Since the developer decided to reply by deflecting, let me be more precise. I am constantly annoyed by AVG pop-up ads and AVG requests to download additional software and AVG scan results that offer additional products for additional fees. These ADVERTISEMENTS are constant and unrelenting, much like you'd expect from a free app.
5 ★I had a serious problem with a virus on my phone... everytime I tried to text, email, web-search, or make phone calls, very loud spam ads would automatically pop up on the screen and prevent me from completing whatever I wanted to do. After I had AVG ANTI-VIRUS and AVG CLEANER downloaded onto my phone, all of the viruses were immediately removed. I haven't had any further problems or issues with any viruses, whatsoever, since downloading AVG. They are an amazing company!!!
5 ★I have had this app on my phone , free version, and still has a small but ok variety of features. It also works! I usually ran scans on my phone but didn't find anything. Then I had this tablet which was pressing buttons or moving around in its own , so I decided to try any web solutions but nothing worked. After that I thought it might have to do with a virus. Which caused me to install on my tablet and to my surprise there was a malware or something malicious which then AVG fixed it. Recommend
5 ★I considered giving AVG a 4 star rating because after I put the sucurity code to open the chosen APP, sometimes the app I'm opening goes blank. The other issue is in the section of removing the hack. It only allows you to fix the issue and check back in that it was fixed. If it isn't fixed, it remains there. In cases where the website is no longer active, it should allow you the option to delete your information or whatever is best to keep you secured. Other than that, the APP is great.
2 ★Been using the free version for years. Til recently I would have given 5 stars. But recently they took away some of the features the free version had, like autoscan. Now they're locked behind the payed version. I just dont have the money. Edit: I get that the devs need money. But taking away the most basic features that were free for years? I don't like that much.
5 ★I've had this for a few days and the random pop up ads that I was getting on my phone have stopped! Is easy to install, understand and operate. I do recommend this app, it is a necessity these days!!! Brief update; I've had this app for about 4mo and have not had one single issue. I am now installing the full version... Stay tuned... UPDATE : it's been about 3 yrs with the full version and still a great app!
5 ★I've been using AVG for about 15 years and am obviously pleased. The ONLY stipulation is sending multiple emails and renewals. I have crossed over 2x's with my subscriptions. Causing duplicate subscriptions. Issues resolved, but not fairly on both. It's not right on AVG's part for sending the multiple emails. Yes, I was not in the right for not checking. I trusted it was time for renewal. On a good note, it makes me CHECK EVERYTHING now and not trust any company on renewals, etc.
5 ★Wonderful! I got a notification that a page was malicious, and I figured it was taken care of, because I pay for the full service. Hour later I go to play a game and the page is still open. Real secure. This and the cleaning app keep getting put to sleep. I awake them and I'm greeted with the app congratulations for itself claiming no virus or malware. I have the same issues with Knox and McAfee. All 👍 good, as the screen jumps around and locks up. It's the least bs tho so 5 stars.
5 ★Ive been a customer for over 1-year now and it's not given me ANY issues, it's stayed true to the described/ promised security features, level of protection AND it's SUPER easy to use, understand and navigate. I'm not very "tech savvy" so if it's easy for me to use & understand then it's gotta be! Also I've had my payment methods hacked many times that's what made me look into this & hasn't happened once since adding this app! LOVE IT... HUHE fan ❤️👍☺️
