Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Casting is not working correctly. The app cannot find any speaker groups (either home minis that are paired or devices grouped via Google Home). Also, when casting to a speaker, it still plays through my Pixel even though it shows as if it's casting to the speaker. Plus, clearing storage does not seem to reset the app at all!
1 ★Starting last week, I get an error message when trying to play some podcasts, "streaming isn't available for this episode. Try downloading to listen." This is only happening for certain podcasts (e.g. some NPR ones). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and restarting phone, but problem persists. Haven't been able to find helpful troubleshooting online.
3 ★Could stand to have more organization/sorting options for favorites. Sifting through home screen to find specific podcasts is ungainly & time-consuming. Also need better search options/optimaztion. UI is decent but needs improvement for ease of access & customer experience. Most of us listening to podcasts are tech-savvy, make your app & UI reflect that while offering simplified version for those who don't need it.
4 ★Good app, all the podcasts I've ever heard of are on here. Only issue is that scrolling through a long list of episodes is kind of a drag, and there's no way to search within a podcast for episodes. So if you're catching up on old episodes after finding a new podcast, well, good luck...
5 ★I love having instant access to all of my podcasts. I would like to have the ability to rate different podcasts and episodes as a way to give feedback and show love to my favorite podcast. I would also like the ability to aggregate my podcasts into different groupings. Thanks for the great app! 👍
1 ★Android 11 media controls don't show up for this app. Can't figure out how to get tech support. This app works well for the most part, but the audio randomly stops sometimes while the podcast keeps advancing? The episodes I've experienced this with play fine all the way through on another player, so it's an app issue. I love that the app doesn't hijack my lock screen wallpaper, though. I'm SO SICK of apps doing that.
4 ★The grid thumbnails of the old layout was much better and easier to navigate than the single line scroll now. :( i used to group my podcasts according to genre (or thumbnail color) by drag and drop, not according to latest episode. I hope we get this back. EDIT: This app ain't mobile data friendly. Also, wish I could play all episodes of a series automatically and noy manually clicking each ep. The queue system is tiring. EDIT: autoplay series yay! Added 1 star
3 ★I have had no issues with this app to date. It is, seemingly, the only app I have not had crash or glitch. So far so good. UPDATE - 9/9/20: the app will often not respond unless I use the notification pull down. I have to repeatedly make i "choose" the pop up icon bubble before pausing, rewinding, forwarding, etc. And even then the app will not register the action. 3/5 stars. Please improve this for the Samsung Galaxy S 20 Plus
1 ★Won't actually play, download, or load any of my podcasts. Had to switch from Google Play Music to this nonworking app. Very disappointed with Google right now. Response: I sent a feedback report. I hope this gets fixed. If it does, I'll change my review. Update# 2 Still not working as of Oct. 2, 2020
3 ★So this app is a giant step up from google play where the podcasts were hard to search for and find. However I have yet to figure out how to cast from the app to my google home speaker. I have yet to find a way in the menu to do this. The only way is to ask your google home to play the episode. But then it doesnt mark it as played in the app. Maybe there will be an update coming soon that can fix this?
5 ★It is an excellent way to listen to lectures or speeches or even your favourite music conveniently while doing your routine works like walking, jogging, driving etc. Unlike YouTube, we are allowed to download a file and listen to it offline. I found it very user-friendly too... Started using it recently, will update further after using it more.
5 ★It has all the podcasts I am looking for. Specific interests, soccer, sports, news, Ramsey solutions personalities, etc. If my phone restarts or the app crashes (rare), then podcasts remembers my exact spot on the time. There is a setting to ensure downloads are done on WiFi only, especially handy for auto-downloads.
