4 ★I like this app in that I can pause podcasts I'm listening to and come back later and pick up where I left off without automatically starting over like others do (websites). The con is that it stops randomly on it's own.
2 ★When I download an episode and try to play it offline, while the screen is locked as I pause the content it stops playing and when I unlock and try to play it again, it doesn't respond but the funny fact is when I press the small play button at the list which is located right side of the content, it starts to play again!
3 ★I'm just finding my way round the app. The reasons for three stars are that 1. my library came pre-loaded with podcasts that were of absolutely no interest to me. Even if they had been of interest, this feature was unwelcome. 2. Podcasts are randomly switching off during play. 3. It is not as intuitive as I am used to. I am going to give it another few days but may look for an alternative.
1 ★Awful app, the interface is unintuitive, glitches when trying to work with the phone overlay and has unskippable whole screen ads before you can even access the app. At first the ads were bearable because you could fairly quickly move away, like any other app, but got progressively worse. Do yourself a favor and move on to another app. The last 10 seconds I had to wait to load past the ad and get into the app to take note of the podcasts I listen to were the longest of my life.
5 ★Thankful to find this player.. Huge variety of podcasts, etc.. Can be transferred to SD so doesn't take too much room on phone memory.. Just not enough time in the day to listen to EVERYTHING I'd like to! And it's FREE!
1 ★I found that it is very faulty. When I try to pause it it keeps playing or if it pauses may take several minutes to start again which is awkward when you meet friends while walking. Can take several attempts to download/start playing, which is frustrating. The good thing is that it does work at times
2 ★It's very glitchy. When you listen to a podcast, you won't be able to pause or control the experience through your lockscreen. For some reason, they haven't figured this out yet. Downloaded pod cast still have a tough time playing from time to time. It's tough when you download something for you to use in the future, and it's not there for you to use without glitches.
3 ★The adds I can deal with, it's the stopping of what I'm listening to be that annoys me. Half way through the podcast it'll just stop or in the case of well known podcasts like the Trevor Noah show it'll just jump to a new episode. The app is easy to use and has a great variety, it can just be supremely annoying.
1 ★Used this app for a few years. Never had any problems. But the past few months it shuts off with a box that says error and has become very slow to load as well. I haven't been able to listen to an entire podcast without this issue. Deleting this app and finding a new one.
3 ★Pretty good, it has my favourite layout and design of all the podcast apps I've tried. However, it is missing reviews of podcasts, which would be very helpful to find good shows. Also, the status/player bar in Notifications is frequently non-functional - I have to go into the app to press play/pause. Edit: I've followed the suggested step and there is still an odd delay on how the notification player functions. All my other audio apps work fine.
5 ★Though ads may be necessary to keep this app free I am more than happy to live with that minor irritation as the ads don't interrupt the flow of the podcasts and I can dismiss them easily (as a child I was taught to ignore all advertising - adverts only exist to separate me from my money). I do like the facility to speed up the playback of podcasts without that distorting the voices in the podcasts. A good, reliable app.
4 ★I absolutely love the app because it brings all my favorite podcasts to me(I've encountered some playback issues but scrolling through ather reviews has helped) but lately it will start playing a podcast im not subscribed to or have even ever looked up(until today to figure out if it was related to what I listen to but it is not) and I was wondering if there was a way to get it to stop doing that??? Other than that little problem the app is wonderful!
