왕십리중앙교회는대한예수교장로회(통합)에 소속된 교회로, 영락, 새문안, 연동, 남대문, 무학교회 등과 형제교회로 113년(2018년)의 역사를 갖고 지역의 동네 교회로 자리 잡고 있는 교회입니다.
올해 2018년 우리 왕십리중앙교회는 “예수님처럼, 예수님처럼, 예수님처럼” 이라는 주제와 ‘예수님처럼 삽시다.’ 라는 인사말로 한해를 성령의 이끄심으로 나아가고자 합니다.
감동이 있는 교회, 예배와 성도의 교제를 통해 감동, 특별히 성령의 감동이 있기를 사모하는 교회입니다.
자유함이 있는 교회, 그 감동은 곧 주님께서 자신을 얽어매고 누르던 모든 것들에서 자유케 하셨음을 깨닫고 고백하며, ‘진리가 너희를 자유케 하리라.’는 말씀이 그대로 이루어지는 열매를 맺는 공동체입니다.
그 자유함은 방종으로 흐르는 것이 아닌 승화된 자유함으로 기꺼이 자원하는 심령으로 주님께 헌신하며, 삶의 의미를 봉사와 헌신에서 찾는 교회 입니다.
