Meldeboka er nå i full drift ved alle skoler i Trondheim kommune, og er samtidig under utprøving ved utvalgte barnehager i kommunen.Meldeboka gir deg som ansatt i Trondheim kommune én kanal for å kommunisere med foresatte til elever i barnehage, skole og SFO. Meldeboka erstatter beskjeder på papirlapper, i tradisjonelle meldebøker, på e-post, sms og på telefon. Det blir en sikrere og mer effektiv dialog med barnas foresatte. Og du bidrar til miljøet med mindre papirbruk, og sparer barnehagen eller skolen din for både tid og penger!
Med Meldeboka-appen kan du som ansatt i barnehage eller skole i Trondheim kommune blant annet:
• Sende og motta meldinger/beskjeder til og fra foresatte
• Sende gruppemeldinger til foresatte i dine grupper
• Motta og bekrefte fraværsmeldinger fra foresatte
• Se oversikt over innmeldt fravær for valgt dato

Ansatt-appen kan lastes ned og installeres på kommunalt eide mobiltelefoner og nettbrett. Appen er også godkjent for bruk på ansattes private utstyr, men ansattes arbeidsverktøy er kommunalt eid PC, nettbrett eller mobiltelefon.
Innlogging gjøres via FEIDE eller med TK-Ident. Etter første pålogging er det mulig å logge på med selvvalgt pinkode.
