大悲學苑是由一群長年從事安寧療護與生命教育的法師、虔誠佛弟子共同發心籌設和啟建，以結合佛法與生命教育為宗旨，以實踐佛教修行、參與社會關懷、推動生命教育、促進健康人生為核心理念。法師們懷抱慈悲願力，在前述理念下培訓：社區安寧靈性關懷志工、安寧療護暨生命教育宣導志工、大悲劇團，與行政服務志工。關懷內容包括：提供末期病友、家屬、第一線醫療人員關於末期靈性照顧的電話諮詢或面談諮詢，以及大台北地區末期病人居家訪視，並為末期病友、家屬或喪親家屬開辦「大悲家園」系列課程，二個月為一期，協助參與者從中找到安頓身心的力量。
透過服務、劇團演出或宣導活動，我們重視人對人的互動與交流，歡迎您的加入！期許這一股清流，為台灣社會創立一個優質的社區靈性關懷志工團隊與典範。
