Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★It's ok, sometimes slow, not always accurate especially about Russia, lies about Russia continue. False news about Syria and the whole of the middle East, very dangerous and stupid. Making excuses for the United States, puts my beloved UK in the same sinking ship.
4 ★With regard to research studies, reading recent global reports, the BBC'S News statements enable further research reference points; thus, saving valuable time in said research studies. From Anthropology to Theology, the BBC'S reports make it much easier to pursue necessary points of in depth study, without wasting valuable research time & resources.
5 ★Good app. Simple interface. However, the widget doesn't get updated with the latest news. Need to open the app to load the latest news. Also, BBC needs to improve on the proof-reading of their news articles. Lots of grammatical and spelling errors noted.
4 ★The Latin American header link doesn't work and why are many of the Africa articles in a different, less mobile friendly format? It seems odd that its more difficult to read content about two major regions.
5 ★Coming from an American, I think that BBC is actually the best news app that I've used. Easily customizable content from a broad range of topics, no opinions, just the news. What a revolutionary idea!!
2 ★The advertisements that block out a whole page, when you scroll through an article and the text disappears leaving just the ad are extremely frustrating. We all understand that advertising is an income stream that helps news sites operate, but this is obstructive and must surely be detrimental to the purposes of the advertiser.
4 ★Good app, trustworthy news. But I do wish they were consistent about marking video stories as such. I really often click on an interesting-sounding article, but it's a video, which I often am not able to watch. It's not a huge problem, but it's annoying.
5 ★Sirs and Madams, Namaskar. Particulars of my Samsung Tab : Android Version 4.2.2 , in this Tab, BBC News Version 4.7.1.29[107998]-14/05/2018. Particulars of my Samsung Phone : Android Version 6.0.1 , in this phone BBC News Version 5.17.0[5170000]-10/12/2020. On both of the machines I face disruptions in listening. Kindly improve your transmission quality. Thanking you. Yours sincerely, AMIYA KUMAR SARDAR INDIA 24-Jan-2021
4 ★I love the links in the articles that lead to deeper information about covered topics. Great way to learn! I give only 4 stars because the video content is problematic. Video ads load instantly and play perfectly, then I wait 2-3 minutes for a glitchy news video to load and play.
3 ★App works poorly on Android devices! IOS Apple it's fine. BBC is turned into Pop news & is far behind to ALJAZEERA, Granted most BBC shows are interesting BUT BBC priority is sports, particularly football BBC desire to attract more listeners? Granted "Hardtalk" is good, u want real WORLD news then view/listen to AJ/DW. ps BBC World Service App for listening, this app works perfectly with android devices.
3 ★Used to love this app but the ads are getting too much. Also when in carousel mode and 'backing out' of an article, why does it have to go back to the top of the list and not stay at the news topic I was on? Really annoying!!!
1 ★Good layout and user options - real shame that every time my device rotates, I systematically loose track of where I was browsing my news feed. Answer from their dev team?... turn off auto rotate! UX definitely not their priority
