5 ★I don't know, literally... what I would do without this app! I LOVE to read! This has saved me sooo much money!! You get books AND magazines you can read every single month for free! My favorite Indie Authors such as Leia Stone, Jaymin Eve, Sam Hall, Grace McGinty, Ravyn Fyre are all on here, and I'm SO grateful! If you're an avid reader this is a No Brainer! For a small amount every month you're able to have an endless amount of books, magazines and even Comics right at your fingertips!
5 ★The Kindle app has enabled me to scale down my ever expanding library so it fits on whichever device I'm using at the time. Plus with the subscription to Kindle Library I have access to so many books, I'm never bored. The only problem is: Which series to read next? The added bonus is that Alexa can read my books to me, so I'm hands free to be able to do other things at the same time. #MultitaskingMum 👌🏻
5 ★It is a good app. I have enjoyed while reading book on this app. Downloaded, purchased books store on cloud of this app so you can read it anywhere on any device. It is very nice reading experience. You might use highlight text options, text size, options, low vision option and also control brightness of app while reading and much more options which made reading experience nice. It's wonderful app. I would like to recommend it for easy access.
1 ★This app has been working awesome until this very moment where it has booted me out and won't let me sign back in. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and it's still bringing me back to the login screen. What is going on??? Edit: Over a year later and still this app has issues. Now I can't download books from the Kindle Unlimited store through the app but have to sign into my account online each time I want to download a book?? Ridiculous.
1 ★FIX THE UPDATE!!! I cant read anything!! Just a white screen and its quite annoying this has lasted as long as it has. Tried to email in a ticket and got a response that they are not taking emails at this time like are serious?! Probably because so many are being sent in! Unbelievable!
5 ★I am not much a book reader I just recently developed a taste of reading.The reading experience is pretty good with many customizable features and also the best part is the auto adjust when you zoom in,its just great! and many good books are also there, definitely recommended! And if still your unsure just give it a try I am sure you will like it!!
2 ★I love reading on the Kindle app and I love my Kindle collection. It has a major fault and it's a fault that's been around since version 1, though: Managing your books and especially your collections is a clunky, slow, half-finished mess. Some book metadata is wrong. Let me edit how it appears. Recognize my PC collections where the app is easiest (but not great) to manage. For Pete's sake, let me hide my 3,000 Comixology issues on the Kindle app, it's impossible to search. Fix the search!
4 ★Sometimes it locks up or it just shows a blank screen. It's pretty rare, so 4 stars. The program is useful and well coded. Unfortunately, it is steeped in Amazon prime and if you are not a member, then don't bother with this app. Seriously!
4 ★I love my Kindle app but I gave 4 stars because it really needs an alphabet scrub bar to browse with. Sometimes I can't remember enough to do a word search but I know it starts with... I have over 6500 books and scrolling is a pain. Many times I can use search but sometimes you just want to scroll through say the m books. Honestly though, I'm a diehard Kindle fan. Been on a Kindle or app since it started.
1 ★I don't know what Amazon did in this last update but this app is now unusuable on my LG G-Pad X. If you try and browse the store it crashes. If you try and scroll through your library, it crashes. If you try and download a book, it crashes. If you attempt to read a book, it crashes. At least the app still sorta works on my phone i guess.
1 ★Very upset! I can't access my thousands of books on my kindle. Just have blank white book covers with a big K on them. When i click on any one cover the wheel just keeps spinning and won't open. I see from all the reviews this has been going on for a few weeks. Do you think maybe y'all could have sent an email to your MILLIONS of users that there were serious issues? I have had this app for 5 years, was 5 star until yesterday. Waiting on a reply to my email. I dont want to lose my books.
1 ★No longer works with VPN. App worked great until a few days ago when it stopped all downloads, unable to switch out unlimited kindle books, sync the library, etc under a VPN. Before this the app worked perfectly while using a VPN. Have no problem with my other apps but I'm sure it's just a matter of time before others follow this route and force users to make their electronic susceptible to viruses, trojans, spying on personal info, stealing info, etc. Back to paperback and hardback books.
