강남선한목자교회는 2013년 8월 선한목자교회(담임 유기성 목사)에서 분립개척한 교회입니다.한국교회가 어렵고 힘들 때에 개척교회를 시작한다는 것은 큰 믿음의 도전이고 실험입니다.
저와 함께한 성도들에게는 멈출 수 없는 하나님이 주신 사명과 비젼이 있습니다.
한국사회가 경제뿐만 아니라 영적으로 매우 어렵고 힘든 때에 예수그리스도의 십자가 복음의 능력으로 사랑하고 섬기라는
사명을 주셨습니다. 교회와 성도들이 복음의 분명한 증인으로 서는 것과, 전도된 사람들과 한가족 생명 공동체를 이루는 것
입니다. 말로만의 한가족이 아니라 하나님이 우리를 포기하지 않고 끝까지 사랑한 그 사랑으로 사랑하고 섬기는 가족입니다.
하나님은 개척교회를 준비하면서 저에게 강하게 세가지 마음을 주셨습니다.
첫째는 불신자들에게 오직 예수그리스도의 십자가 복음의 능력으로 영혼을 구원하는 교회를 세우실 것이라는 마음을
주셨습니다.
"예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라"(요14:6)
구원을 얻을만한 다른 이름을 주신일이 없다.
둘째는 교회를 떠나 방황하는 사람들이 여호와 하나님께로 돌아올 교회를 세우신다는 마음을 주셨습니다.
"오라 우리가 여호와께로 돌아가자 여호와께서 우리를 찢으셨으나 도로 낫게 하실 것이요 우리를 치셨으나 싸매어
주실 것임이라"(호세아 6장 1절)
