1 ★Doesn't work most of the time. Cannot cycle from the app, have ti try multiple times to reset the gage, since update have been getting more errors. Not happy at all. Worried about leaving my litter box on while on vacation and it producing an error leaving my cat to use the floor because its upside down.
3 ★New revamped app to the old Litter Robot app. Nice job on the design, looks sleek and responsive. As far as functionality, it doesn't offer any additional features to the old app. UX has actually got worse since browsing historic data seem to very limited. No monthly average any more, no ability to filter events.
2 ★I could not get the Android app to connect. I try connecting through wifi, I get to the step where it tries to connect to the LR wifi, and the app just stalls at waiting to connect. I eventually had to use the app on my wife's iphone to get it to connect. That app had zero issues with setup. Luckily the devices sync across all platforms, so once I added the LR on the iphone app, it shows up on my android.
4 ★My original review highlighted critical usability issues preventing me from carrying out the basic tasks the original app provided. For all those who also provided a review on the first day I would encourage you to also reevaluate the new app. The developers immediately responded with their sympathies and explained their technical challenges were exasperated by the apps initial popularity. The reason for 4 stars is, although I sincerely enjoy the UI refresh and can appreciate the work that goes into a full code rewrite, the new app doesn't offer noticeable improvement on the features available in the original app for the litter robot product. Personally, I would have loved to have seen QoL improvements such as a meter widget that doubles as a reset button, dark theme support, or, at a more grand level, google assistant integration. In addition, I would love to have access to more device diagnostic data such as current signal strength.
5 ★Almost there litter robot. Can you guys please put a reset button so I can override homeposition fault while away? Apps bugginess dissapeared for me. Edit: I know its hardware and contacted customer support, I have to manually clean and do things to fix it. But I will not be home for 2 more weeks, I need the litter robot to rotate and clean while I'm not there.That's why I need the reset button Edit:App works great, smoother than older, if you have a problem contact them, great customer support
5 ★The devs took the time to reach out and explain the issue the app had and to let me know it was fixed. Excellent customer service and now the app works flawlessly. It has more features than the last and what seems like a better layout.
4 ★Well this version is slightly improved however the gauge says is full almost every single day when it is in fact not full so I have to keep resetting it what good is it if it can't even keep track of the level of waste? I did not have this problem in the previous app.
3 ★I appreciate Litter Robot trying to make their app better, but the new app is way too buggy. It just freezes as soon as I get to the litter box page. Hopefully them rebuilding the app allows them to add more feature. So here is a 3 star in hopes that the app becomes better.
1 ★Can't login. Says the credentials are wrong or the serial number is already in use. I reset my password and that didn't help. Thankfully the other app works just fine so until the bugs get worked out on this one I'm just gunna stick with the old app
4 ★Update 2: what is the purpose of having the unit attached to the wifi, of you have to reset the unit then go into the app and reset gauge? Update: thank you for quickly fixing issues. Wow.... One would think an app for a $400 litter box would actually work.
2 ★Could not successfully onboard my Litter Robot. I had to use my wife's iPhone and was able to successfully onboard my Litter Robot with the iOS version of this app.
1 ★This software is total garbage. Status screen is just a grey page, and now there's less functionality. Useless update. Update: problem has not been solved, still showing grey status screen.
