3 ★The farther you advance, the more frequent the ads and some ads cause my phone to freeze. The game is great: a challenging mix of easy and not-so-easy words on all levels. But the annoying ads are causing me to rethink if it's worth keeping. And you can't click out of the ads unless you watch them for a certain period of time and even after that, you have to click out of two screens in order to resume the game.
5 ★The last time I played this game it had a lot of advertisement. After downloading it today, I see that they finally listen our request. It shows a complete decrease of ads now. Now, it gone back to being exciting to play and not annoying. Thank you Bit Mango for listening. Hey, new players! Try it out to see the new events and puzzles and so much more! I like how I can play this to pass time and it is very addictive.
1 ★It's a lot of fun for about the first 30 levels. I'd seen reviews complaining about the ads, but I didn't know that they were right. A full-screen ad between every/every other short puzzle. Basically, if you play this, about 50% of the time you're in this app will JUST BE ADS. Now, I understand apps need ad revenue to work. Ad banners at the bottom of the screen? Fine. Making it optional to get extra coins and such by watching an ad? Sure! But this is outrageous. I had to uninstall it.
3 ★I played this every day for months and enjoyed it. But lately the ads have become a nuisance. I could live with them if I could get out. But the only "out" has become going to the Play Store (you're right back in it when you go back), hitting an X so high in the corner it pulls notifications down, or forcing the navigation bar up and forcing it to go to the desktop (the backarrow always does nothing or triggers the Play Store). I'm done. Uninstalling.
2 ★I wish this game worked properly because I do love it when it is working. However, when you try to watch videos for free tokens or play the special levels, 7 times out of 10 I get a black screen and have to exit out of the game completely and come back in. Annoying! I uninstalled and will find something that works as it should.
4 ★12/18/22 Recently took a break for a few months and when I came back good lord what happened with the ads???!!! Used to be you got to play a whole level, then an ad would pop up that you had to watch for thirty seconds or so. Now I'm the middle of trying to play a level and 30 seconds in I'm taken to a website for an ad that was playing at the bottom. Didn't even click on it. I tested this multiple times. Never used to be like this please fix it.
5 ★I love this game & the way it's set up! It's addicting lol. I love that I can choose between classic and different holiday themes! Earning coins is easy & they add up quicker than you realize. The levels are great, not too easy where it would be boring, but not too hard where you get stuck every single time. The only thing I wish they'd add is definitions of the hints in the help section. I tend to forget which hint does what so it would be nice to have a place to look where it would tell me.
4 ★I have been playing this game for a long, long time. I've beaten it 2x in the past. I've had to start at the beginning about 4x when switching to new devices. No big dea,l prob. my fault. I have 1 issue: I'll swipe a word & it its in the red. Its frustrating. It happens more often than it should though. I just figured maybe someone would want to know. Or not. I'll still always play anyways. Thanks.
1 ★The ads are ridiculous. Opened the game and I had to click through no less than 5 offers in the game itself before getting to a puzzle. I solved 1 word to end that puzzle and them immediately got sent to an ad. So I clicked through 3 minutes of in game ads and offers, played the game for 30 seconds, and then a 3rd party ad began. Nope. Not doing it. Close game. Uninstall game. Write review to let everyone know how terrible this is.
5 ★Of the games of this type, I find this one most enjoyable. It's got little quests and stuff you can do on the side but you don't have to do them. It's decent difficulty, and even though some of the puzzles kind of repeat with letters, there's enough a variety that you don't really notice it. I tend to play this at night before bed or on my breaks at work. Limited ads that you can disable very easily. My only complaint is lack of some common words and their use of some obscure words instead.
2 ★TOO MANY ADS. I'm fine with a game having some ads. This game has ads after every level and it's two ads in the same minute. If I change screens on my phone or pause the game, I'm slammed with ads more. This is a great challenging game otherwise. The amount of ads is a headache though and a huge turn off. I had to uninstall the app. Please fix this so the game can actually be enjoyed.
3 ★Had this app years ago and recently reinstalled for nostalgia. It has the same charming graphics and the same annoying tendency to add an -S or -ED to every possible word in order count it as a second word. The dictionary overall has gotten worse and feels AI-written (since when is "needer" a word?), the offers are invasive (extra coins being "saved" so I can buy them later? WTH), and the ads are constant (after most levels, when you think too long, or move away from the app and come back).
