Litter-Robot Connect is the first app of its kind, bringing you data about your cat’s litter box usage and giving you full control of your Litter-Robot 3 Connect right from your phone. (This app only works with the Litter-Robot 3 Connect.)Use the Litter-Robot Connect app to:
-View the waste drawer level from wherever you are.
-Get real-time status updates: Turn on push notifications to know when your Litter-Robot needs your attention. Customize alerts to find out when it's cycling, the drawer is full, or the unit is paused.
-Monitor your cat’s litter box usage for insights into your cat’s health. Learn what's normal for your cat, so you can identify when something might be wrong.
-Manage your Litter-Robot settings: Adjust the wait time, lock out the control panel, activate the night light, or schedule sleep mode.

2 ★The littler robot is great. The app isn't. It takes a very long time to set up. I had to force close it and start the process again multiple times before it accepted my login. The sleep function won't take my inputs. No matter what time I set it to, it changes to 1 pm - 9 pm. I'm frustrated, but the unit itself is worth it. Please fix the slow response and connectivity from the app to the unit. The fault is not with my wifi
4 ★Love the device. The only thing I cant figure out is why the app doesn't move the gage for the capability of the drawer. It always says empty when it is full.
3 ★Has issues. You must use 2.4 GHz wifi and this is not in the printed documentation or app. Adding that info would have saved me a hour of trying to get this to connect. Seriously. Please add support for DFS/SON networks since this is pretty standard now.
1 ★The device itself works great. The app is the most unresponsive POS I've ever used. Most of the time I can never get it to reset the waste gauge so I end up having to manually cycle it for a few days until it decides to let me reset it
4 ★Love my boy and the app. I hate setting the app up when I change modems. Ugh. Set up never works from my phone and take multiple tries from my tablet. Can't figure out how to rename it and I sure as hell am not going remove it and try connecting it again, just to fix the name! For whatever reason, I can never get the set up to work from my Android phone. I always have to pull out a laptop or a tablet. Once set up, the phone app works fine.
2 ★The Litter Robot w works great, but the app absolutely pisses me off. I can't believe I paid $500 for the "connected" box when the app is garbage. It works until it's time to reset the waste tray to empty. The app won't show its empty, and suddenly, the app no longer works. The Robot is on, but the app shows its off. I hard reset and reinstall the app, but no remedy. I have to "forget" the robot and go through the agonizing process of reconnecting it to the network. FIX THIS APP!
2 ★Always have issues of the machine and the app communicating! As of two days ago, EVERY SINGLE TIME my cat uses the litter robot, I get an alert that the drawer is full, even though I JUST emptied it! The app is useless at fixing this; I can't reset the gauge and I can't shut off/on the machine. I have to reset the machine manually, which is very inconvenient when I'm not home - especially when the machine refuses to cucle due to it being "full".
2 ★The app worked brilliantly up to today where the reset gauge is stuck to Empty. Also the LR keeps appearing offline if the cat hasn't used it recently. Fix it and I'll change my review.
1 ★Gauge meter doesn't work. Showed up to full only once. Then open the app and the meter drops to empty and stays there no matter now much the robot has been used.
3 ★App works well... Only reason it's only 3 stars is because push notifications aren't working. I have to open the app and go check the history manually every time.
2 ★Very buggy and the litter robot itself is plagued with Wi-Fi issues. I would wait to buy this thing until they release a newer, more updated one.. Update: I filed a support ticket around a week ago, immediately got back a reply that said responses are currently delayed... Understandable during these times. Haven't heard anything else. Will update when I have anything new.
3 ★Echoing what others are saying. The litter is great, the app could use some love. Overall happy, but for such a limited app I'd expect more. I'm having the same "sleep" issue that others are having. edit: "hard reset" did not fix the issue, so I emailed support. We'll see how that goes. Other than that, the basic functions seem to work, so I'm not super disappointed or anything. Once the sleep issue is fixed I'll be happier. But it could certainly have more for the price of these things. I know there's only so much you can do, but insights has potential!
