Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★We need to bring this app back pronto. It's a huge disadvantage for PlayStation members to not be able to communicate with their in-game communities. Typing from our phones via the app and being able to meet other players for assistance with our games is crucial. Destiny 2 is the game I reference to, there's in-game content that can only be handled with other skillful players and not being able to reach out to them is cruddy. Hopefully there's a master plan behind this that we don't know about.
1 ★But why leave the community app in front of everyone, rather than making it a console exclusive option. What if someone wants to send messages to the group on their phone? But not having a console to use communities on? That's a death sentence, Sony! That's another way of saying f you to the mobile market. "Oh look, it's the community app, you want to join a new community when you're away? Oh that's too bad, you should've owned a PS4 to use communities in the first place."
1 ★Doesn't work at all. You go on and it says the app has ended.. Used to be really good for managing communities and was an easy way of talking to large groups but now it's just pointless. Will edit rating if fixed 😞😞
1 ★You cant use it, so, i have no clue to why its still on the playstore. Just remove it... Dont bother installing, it'll just tell you that it isnt operational, and that if you wanna look at communities, go on the PlayStation. Save the time, dont bother
1 ★This app isn't functional anymore and yet it is still in the store and the PlayStation mobile app still has a Communities option that encourages you to download it. If you're going to pull functionality, please prepare appropriately in advance instead of wasting my time.
1 ★I would give a 4 or 5 star. The app itself was very very helpful with communication going from a community wall to messing and such. But now that it's not supported it's worthless. They really need to bring it back. I do understand the new ps5 is soon coming. But unless they have a new app coming with it, its no good. I just home the community stuff with the next generation dose not ruin it all
1 ★Why oh why has this app been terminated? As a PlayStation user and to be "connected" then why is this no longer? This was a great addition for users to keep in touch with the forums & communities. This would get 5 stars normally but as "no stars" is not available I will reluctantly give them 1 star. Hopefully Sony will reinstate this app to keep their loyal gamers happy
1 ★Would rate zero stars if possible. Have used this app for a very long time. Recently asked me to update and after updating (using more space up on my phone) I open it to a message of it not being supported and to "use my ps4." The whole dang point of the app is for convenience... and why did I have to update to be told it isnt supported. Mega fail Sony. Uninstalling all 3 of my playstation apps now. And after seeing all the complaints, will consider xbox over ps5 in near future.
1 ★it was a useful app, made checking and posting on communities very convenient. But now it is no longer supported nor working. The ps4 is too slow and inefficient to check communities, so i stopped using communities overall along with this app.
1 ★I really depended on this app for my Car club in GTA. It was our best form of communication because it was way faster than dealing with PS slow menu. I'm very disappointed they decided to discontinue it
1 ★Sony no longer supports this app so it's useless. Not sure why, anyone who actually uses the outdated community feature only communicated through this app rather than typing with the controller. Although I would love for this app to be supported again, I would also just love a general update to communities to be more functional/ relevant. Either way, at least I still get notifications through this app. Just can't type or easily control my community when I'm away from my system. Bummer, Sony.
1 ★What was once a very useful useful app to use on the go and now this is dead like you could download it but what's the point what's the point why is it even still here why it's gone this is a really dumb decision that doesn't make sense
