4 ★I love the app the reason I gave 4 stars is for 2 reasons 1. You can't use looking for group anymore 2. You can't here game audio My suggestions are 1. Add a setting that lets you say in the party and just use xbox app to talk or make it so it don't kick you out off a party when you use xbox app. 2. Add group posts back to Xbox app and. 3. When you are in a party can you make it so you can receive party invite
4 ★Update: after 1 day of not working remote play is now working again. I use this app everyday for the remote play feature. It worked fine for me with the occasional lag and pixelation. Now I can't connect it my consoles all of the sudden. I have several xboxes this is set up on and multiple devices tablet phone etc. And all I get on every device is "Try again in a while we can't connect to your console right now" I have spent hours trouble shooting with no results. Please fix.
1 ★Very poor app. Very laggy, because they try to add to much detail to what should be a simple app. They removed the option to use screenshots as your profile pic. And I can no longer download my game clips because it will get stuck at 0%. So what even is the point of this app at this point. EDIT: it's been 3 months, and I still cant download my game clips
1 ★I went to sync the Xbox App on my Android phone to my Xbox One X. When the Xbox was turned on the TOP half the screen is solid green (not see through at all), the other half shows the bottom part of my Xbox menu. Even launching games the screen stays cut in half with solid green on top and half the game screen on the bottom. ( I took a pic). I shut down the XBOX and even disconnected the power and let it sit. When turned back on the top half is still green even during the XBOX load screen. I ended having to do a complete hard factory reset on my One X.
4 ★for it to be used for personal gaming experience it is a well developed app, my only downside is capturing game clips when needed, i tried after downloading a gaming clip after awesomeness. either some cookies need to be fixed or it just didn't record. Its features need bug fixes or updating 4 out of 5 for me.
5 ★Its a great app. The only thing that is slightly problematic is remote play seems to get really pixelated sometime if your game is idle or the scenery in a game doesnt change too much. Moving the camera around, checking the scoreboard in a game, and pressing the xbox button on the controller immediately fixes this but it is reoccuring. Doesnt hurt gameplay, just slightly annoying. Also, you cant record clips on remote play which is a downer. Other than that, Im having a ball with it :)
3 ★There appears to be a major compatibility issue with Xbox Live Parties hosted or joined from the Xbox App on Android 11: since the new operating system update headsets connected over Bluetooth do not work as they should when in a Party, and cause all audio from the device (including the Party audio itself) to be muted, or otherwise the microphones of such headsets to deactivate, forcing the use of the built-in microphones of the device. This urgently needs attention.
3 ★To be fair, the app works. It does its job. I only have an issue with the latency. I will hit the "X" to get out or the back button and it won't register for at least 5 seconds. In addition to that, I kept thinking I did not hit the button only to get a barrage of clicks registering at once. Always will be frustrating. All in all, the app works. I get my messages and can check cool new stuff for console from my phone. Just please fix the button latency on the main screen so it can be used more!
4 ★Overall it's a good app but It doesn't let me send pictures through messages anymore, and I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I always have a bad connection whenever I use remote play. Everything else seems to work fine, though the loading time could be faster. Besides that It's a pretty good app, but can improve.
5 ★This is a supercool app to use to voice chat and normal chat as well as see my and my friends achivements. What you should work on is some bug updates because my arrow keys drift on my xbox app. It's a lot more rare now, but it happened when I got my chromebook back so this would be a nice fix.
3 ★I like the app, however. Its pretty annoying that i have bought tons of movies and tv shows and can not watch most of them unless i am on my xbox. Why cant there be a movies and tv app like the one on my xbox that works on a cellphone or tablet. Seems like i may have wasted tons of money on movies just to realize years later half of them wont even be accessible to watch unless i keep my xbox one which eventually will be outdated. Please do something about this issue. Thanks. Semi happy customer
2 ★This is absolutely trash, it was good before but it's honestly just downhill.. Every time I enter the app it signs me out, when I re-enter my password it always says it's wrong so I change the password and it brings me back to the same thing. not to mention that this is practically a knock- off of discord.
