노회원 여러분!전남노회 안에는 너무나 소중한 249교회가 있습니다. 모두가 주님께서 피로 값 주고 사신 교회이며 하나님의 나라를 아름답게 세우기 위해서 노력하는 교회들입니다. 그리고 그리스도 안에서 전남노회라고 하는 이름으로 한 몸 한 가족이 되었습니다. 한 몸으로서 한 가족으로서 더 아름다움을 만들기 위해서 우리 모두는 서로 격려하며 노력해야 할 것입니다.
그러기 위해서는
1. 우리 모두는 큰 교회가 사랑으로 자립대상교회를 돕기를 주저하지 않는 모든 교회의 수고와 헌신과 사랑을 알아주어야 합니다. 자신의 교회만 아니라 하나님의 모든 교회를 살피고 사랑하는 일은 너무나 귀한 일입니다. 그러한 아름다운 마음이 전남노회를 아름답게 만들었습니다. 그리고 앞으로도 더 큰 사랑으로 전남노회를 섬겨주셔야 합니다. 그러므로 더 큰 격려와 기도가 필요합니다.
2. 농촌교회와 도시개척교회를 더 소중하게 안아 주어야 합니다. 농촌교회 현실은 더 어려워만 가고 있습니다. 그러나 그 소중한 교회가 없다면 누가 농촌지역의 한 영혼 한 영혼을 누가 품을 수 있겠습니까?
이제 개척하기가 참 어려운 시기가 되었습니다. 개척을 하지 않으려고 합니다. 그러기에 이미 개척된 교회는 너무 소중합니다. 1명의 성도를 전도하기가 얼마나 어렵습니까? 그 한명 소중한 영혼을 가슴에 품고 기도하는 열정만큼은 작은 교회를 따라 갈수가 없습니다.
농촌교회가 살아야 합니다. 도시개척교회가 살아야 합니다. 작은 교회가 살아야 큰 교회도 성장하고 한국 교회에 소망이 있습니다.
3. 노회안에 수많은 기관이 있습니다. 남선교회도 있고 여전도회도 있습니다. 중요하지 않는 부서가 없습니다.
그러나 영유아부와 아동부와 중고등부와 청년부는 우리의 미래요 희망입니다. 노회가 총력을 기울어야 할 일중에 가장 소중한 일일지 모르겠습니다. 아름다운 대물림이 이루질수 있도록 우리 모두가 노력해야 할 것입니다.
존경하는 노회원 여러분! 우리 모두가 하나님 앞에서 하나 되고 서로 사랑하고 협력할 때에 우리 모두는 한가족이 되고 우리에게 맡겨준 소중한 일들을 더 잘 감당할 수 있을 것입니다.
