3 ★I actually don't hate the ads, they're quick, not full 30-60 second ads or anything like that. But at least once a week all my messages end up stuck on sent and there's nothing to be done about it but wait. Twice now it's happened during time sensitive conversations. Currently on day two of such a group of messages being stuck.
2 ★It's a husk of its former glory and it's sad of what it has become chats are dieing and bots or over running it and it's happened ever sense they got the ads What they need to do is get rid of the ads or at bare minimum cut back on them and then actually put some effort into it with new content nothing has changed sense Kik was going down and everyone fled to other places and make the groups more available to everyone by expanding the limits and for the ones that have dead owners replace them
2 ★Not a bad messaging app (that's all I use it for) would be good to have an update, add things like messenger and WhatsApp, where if you send something you can either unsend it, or delete it on both ends. Also the adds on the app are getting really annoying, everytime I click on a conversation they are coming up. Messages are very slow to send also.

1 ★Same legitimate gripes as everyone else. Full screen ads are intrusive and obnoxious. As a many year user, it's an unacceptable experience, but I wonder if you devs even care since you post the same canned platitude answer about "keeping the lights on" to everyone who mentions the ad nonsense. Also, take that goddamn "Dark Mode is finally here" nonsense from the update changelog out, it's been here for many many updates already, it's not new, yet you keep it in there. That's misleading.
1 ★It was a good chat app, but there are so many bot accounts that join and spam your groups. No matter how many times you report or block them, there are thousands more to replace them. Kik expecting people to report them is crazy, they need to do something proactive. Now they've introduced full screen (30second) advertisements that block you from accessing your messages. I could deal with that if it was once per session. Unfortunately they even pop up when switching between chat conversations.
2 ★I have alot of kin. Bit I can use it when I do the meet new people option. After 15 chats you should be able to use the kin to buy more chats. The window pops up with the 3 options, but no button to buy the choice and start chatting again. What happened?
1 ★Ads are overly intrusive. UPDATE: Devs replied that ads allow them to invest more. Invest into ads that don't blast sound or completely take up the screen! Utterly ridiculous and overly obtrusive. The new owners are clueless.
3 ★Every single time i get the chance to talk to one of my friends, it always ends up with me waiting for MONTHS to talk to them agian. Why? Because it will go to send after one or two days of talking and sending pictures to each other. Even if i was to restart the app it'll be the same to the point where i had to suggest them to move to a different messaging app entirely!
3 ★It is a good app, but recently im no longer able to buy more chats. For some reason the "purchase" button isn't there anymore, literally. I tried restarting my phone, removing caches, uninstalled the app, and still the purchase button wont appear for buying more chats.
1 ★Ever since adds were introduced it keeps crashing. Its to the point I have had to uninstall then reinstall app twice just to get messages to show. It's so unreliable. Messages very regularly get stuck for no reason or just don't come thru at all. My reception is not the issue as no other app has connection problems. Please fix this or I'll be finding a new app to be loyal to.
1 ★Absolute dismal support from Medialabs since they acquired it. Not only has absolutely nothing about it changed (kin has had so few updates, no new chat themes for like 2 years), buggy as all hell (in my case the worst is when I clicked the check out whisper button, it now opens the play store page EVERY time I launch Kik), full screen ads when clicking on an inbox and absolutely bugger all updates! Such a shame this once great app has gone down the toilet. Been a user for 4 years now, godamnit.
