Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★This app is not compatible with a Google Pixel 4 XL phone running Android 10. I spent two hours trying to get it to work without success. The iPhone app seems to work fine on my wife's iPhone 11. The airlines which use this as an interface to their inflight entertainment systems should demand a stable product from the developer. The app does one thing reliably: drains your battery. In the future when I'm flying American Airlines, I'll bring a tablet with downloaded content.
2 ★This app is necessary for movies on Alaska Airlines. If not, I would delete it... glitchy, freezes up, sometimes the video stops while the sound plays on. Having this problem on two different Android Tablets and my Dell... tried Technical Support they told me I needed to call them while I'm in the air and using the app, CALL them?!?
1 ★Maybe it's because I have an older tablet, but this app works glacially slow on it. It usually takes a half an hour of fiddling with it until I can load a movie and play it. I usually have to try 3 or 5 times to select a movie and then play it. It's the only game in town on Alaska Airlines, so I put up with it, but I hate it.
1 ★This app simply never works. It goes into an endless loop of referring you to a browser where it tells you download itself, but it's already downloaded and deployed. It's ridiculously misengineered. And just to be sure, I am using a state of the art Android device and running the latest browser with every possible patch. That's what happens when you have no proper QA.
1 ★First of all, if you don't have T-Mobile, you can't get Wi-Fi without buying it, so if you don't wanna spend your money on "free" Wi-Fi, you can't even install the app. If you can't install the app, you can't even access the movies. If you can't watch the movies without either buying a line from T-Mobile or a Wi-Fi pass via the website, THEN IT'S NOT EVEN FREE! If you want free movies and shows, then American Airlines is better. I can see why this is only 2.3 stars.
5 ★A lot of airlines started offering free movies and entertainment on your own device and you'll need this app to watch them. The app itself doesn't really interact with the user, but works in the background when you want to watch a movie on the airplane. It worked fine for me on my recent flights.
4 ★Most of you are impatient and don't read. You don't directly interact with this app itself. This app is only invoked by your browser after you choose a movie from the onboard wi-fi media server. It's not like YouTube ot NetFlix. I agree this may not seem intuitive, but it's just how it operates for now.
1 ★I was able to get on initially and select a movie. 30 seconds in I changed mi d and there is no way to back out of the movie to the main menu. Spent 30 minutes and then decided to put alaskawifi in my browser. Then it made me create an account and options to pay were made available when it was free before. I have tmobile so was offered the free 1 hr wifi pass. I logged in and low and behold- the screen is Still set on the movie I don't want I gladly reinstalled the app and its STILL stuck on the movie I dont want
2 ★Once you're able to download the app, two of my android devices couldn't, you have to try 3-4 times to get the movie to play. If you're able to get it to play, it may only play for 30 minutes or so as long as you don't pause it for any reason. This app needs a lot of attention.
1 ★Never is easy. The flight is nearly over by the time it works. Always something wrong even when it indicates i am connected.
1 ★Terrible user experience. Then after all the steps to get connected, it doesn't even work. Could not browse content on a Pixel 2 XL. I can't believe major airlines are adopting this. Or maybe the whole idea is to get people to pay up for the tablet rental after they get frustrated trying to get it to work on their personal devices.
1 ★Website sent me to download app App sent me back to website Website sent me to download app App sent me back to website. Again, again, again, again. I spent an hour trying to get it to work but it would keep going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Ridiculous. Spend the rest of my flight in boredom. Tha ks alot for nothing gogouselessentertainment
