The British Airways app makes booking, boarding and accessing everything about your flights easier than ever before. Personalised to you, the app gives you instant access to the information you need, when you need it.Features:
- Timeline
Including live travel and flight information, and convenient tools and tips for your journey – all shown in a simple card format. See a countdown to your flight, find out which terminal and gate you need to go to and keep up to date when things change.
- Boarding passes for more than one passenger
Now up to eight individual mobile boarding passes can fit on just one phone, provided everyone travelling together is on the same booking reference number.
Multiple boarding passes are available from the following departure airports: Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Basel, Belfast, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Geneva, Glasgow, Jersey, Leeds, London City, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Manchester, Vienna, Zurich.
Bookings which contain an infant passenger cannot currently use multiple boarding passes.

Access and purchase upgrade offers from your phone, book seats in advance, add flights to your calendar or send them via email and get up-to-date arrival and departure times for all of your flights. Additionally, lounge users can access the British Airways Lounge Wi-Fi password.
- Flight status and schedules
Search and track all British Airways flights for the latest arrival and departure times.
- Exclusive features for Executive Club Members
Executive Club members can use our app to check their Avios, Tier Points and full transaction history. Get flight updates sent straight to your device. Those using TAG, our digital bag tag, can also update it within the app after checking in.

1 ★This is an embarrassingly bad app to be provided by a major company. I honestly feel sad for the people at British airways if they are so impaired to think this app in any way functions. Other than being able to access a mobile boarding pass, (as long as you are checked in and traveling alone), it does absolutely nothing! I wonder if this was a middle school project completed by 14-year-olds? It really isn't any better than something. A beginner would come up with.
1 ★Using the BA app to check in has been one of the most frustrating interactions I've ever had with an airline. BA relies on the shoddily written 3rd party app VeriFly for COVID test results. The entire check-in process, including seat selection, is gated by this integration, which is broken: my VeriFly 'pass' is green but BA doesn't recognize it and their call center isn't contactable. I have few options here other than to get to the airport hours early, get a bad seat and never fly BA again.
1 ★Totally worthless if you're unable to use verify (which is also pathetic). Want to check in for a flight? Better hope you don't have a leg on some other airline. Want to change seats? Nope, got to check in first. Want to see where your seats are on your British Airways flight? Nope, can't do that without checking in. This app is worthless!
2 ★One of the most user unfriendly app. It goes all over the place to get one conclusion and for those who don't use these types of apps it's downright daunting. Just put the blasted flights all together instead. How hard is that? Or better yet you can spend an hour or more with British via phone to undo all the screw ups the app makes. Btdt Even those who work the phones have told me the same thing: sometimes it works.
2 ★This app is so buggy it isn't funny. Between this and another OWA member, I'm beyond livid. Enter information in over 50 times and still get errors or told I need to enter the same information again. The OWA system is supposed to streamline this process, but there seems to be a HUGE chunk taken out of their communication process. Add in COVID requirements that seem to not be updated in their app and you're left with increasing frustration.
1 ★Really bad user experience. Worse lately. Slow to load then tells me to try again later - repeatedly. Managed to check in today but couldn't get the boarding pass. 3 times I completed the email to me section but it didn't arrive. Had to log in to the website on a computer and print off the pass. Can't do that for the return journey! Please fix it.
1 ★This used to be an excellent app but of late has become very unreliable. It is often unable to do data updates, account information lags and downloading boarding passes is hit and miss. Unfortunately when all else is equal the performance of the app is beginning to be a reason not to fly with BA. Jan 14th - has now stopped working completely.
1 ★Probably the worst app I have had the misfortune to use. On two separate occasions I have tried to book a flight or select seats, each time after numerous attempts it tells me there is a technical issue with the payment even though I've approve it in my banking app. In the end I had to phone customer services that are not much better. Trying to download boarding passes it only shows one of two. BA should be embarrassed, never had a single issue using easyJet app.
1 ★Absolutely rubbish. If you go to another app for example to check the weather for the destination you are looking at it closes everything and starts again when you swap windows back to the BA app. Would love to book something but it's so painful I'll just use easyjet, wizz air, lastminute or even ryanair!!! All of which work 100 times better.
1 ★1 star only because you can't give 0. This app should not be released to general public at the current state. It works 2 out of ten times you open it. You are stressed by flying? Why not give the stress a extra boost by wondering if the app will load when you need to present the boarding pass. Will you manage to check in before deadline.. maybe, maybe not. I'm quite frequent flyer ( min 10times a year), I moved back to printed boarding pass.
1 ★Terrible terrible terrible. When trying to search for flights, it gives some random error message. After uninstall, reinstall and password update, it doesn't recognise new password. Only then recognised on the desktop site. Surely they must be losing millions in sales due to poor IT.. Update. I wish I could give this app zero stars as now it cannot even show the boarding passes.
1 ★Terrible app. Very slow, doesn't show the right data. Tried to download the two boarding passes but would only do one, didn't even show the other! And when I looked at it the date and time of the flight is incorrect , even where I'm flying from is incorrect... Sort it out ba this app is basically unusable! I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice now but still not working correctly. At times just kept giving me an error when trying to click on a button.
