2 ★Always recognizes me, shows all my current account info, miles, etc. Maybe ~50% of the time the app shows the trip I'm on so I have boarding passes, etc. I don't understand how the app knows exactly who I am, connects to all my account data, but when I try to look at my booked trips it is freaking clueless that I'm flying Delta that day. I still need a paper boarding pass and screens at the airport that tell me what gate to go to.🤦
4 ★I always fly Delta when possible, due to consistency of service and the Skymiles program. My only knock on them is when working through travel agents and having to use partner airlines. it isn't always intuitive, seemless and normal upgrades opportunities don't seem to apply. Other than that, Delta is my airline of choice in the US.
2 ★The delta web site is a real pain to use, multiple screen pop up requiring you to re-input the same info over and over again. Then finally it says there is trouble, try again, where you have to re-input all the information again. The cell app is not much better. Someone needs to take a hard look at this and have a normal person try to log in and check in for a flight!
1 ★Great flights TERRIBLE app! I landed at midnight and just received the notification that my plane is boarding (from yesterday). Also app consistently crashed while trying to use the complimentary WiFi for Delta Skymiles members. I also checked to make sure I have the most updated version of the Delta app (and I do). Also VERY upset that gold and platinum card holders won't be able to use the Delta skyclub anymore. There's no point in being a loyalty member anymore. Turned into "PAY TO PLAY"/FLY.
1 ★App sucks. Wife bought a ticket for me and our kid. Doesn't show up under her "my trips", nor mine. I have to dig through emails for a confirmation number (which isn't in the email). Eventually I find a ticket number. Add all of that and finally it shows up in "my trips" on my app. Also, clicked the ticket number and the manage my reservation in the email. Both throw error messages. This is all under my free flier account and name. Terrible user experience. Btw, flight still not in wife's app.
2 ★Generally it has been a good app, but the latest release locks you out with an "offline mode". It claims you don't have an internet connection, but I do and all other apps work fine. Only the Delta app is in this weird offline mode and nothing, not even restarting the phone, will work. You can't turn off this "offline mode". So it makes the app completely useless.
1 ★VERY frequently unavailable. It's pretty okay, when it works. But, like ALL airlines, it's a matter of choosing the least awful. Back again. Removed the app. Reinstalled. It still indicates that I'm "offline". Worked fine a week ago. Worked four days ago. I'm thinking that if i didn't have a network connection i would not have been able to check in via a browser, right? Suspect I'll be back here in a month trying to figure out how i can give them 0 stars.
3 ★GOOD I booked the flight and was able to add the e credit and choose seats. After booking, I received a confirmation and a receipt that outlines the costs and benefits..Ex. free 1st and 2nd bag check. BAD After booking, the app allows you to add the outbound flight to the calendar but not the return flight to your calendar. Receipt retrieval is tricky. Also, no details about luggage costs on that receipt. You also can't share the itinerary from the app. I hope I'll ge a boarding pass.
1 ★This app, literally, never works. Checking in? I think 1 time in like 8 flights has it worked. Wan precheck for the 1 time it works? NOPE! Cancel a flight? Nah, spins a loading screen for days. Searching for replacement flights for the cancelled Delta flight you just got, awkward at best, only good part is the contact number list so you can attempt to deal with the horrible Delta customer service, where it takes 55 minutes of texting to cancel the flight the app couldn't do for lord knows why
1 ★This app used to be great, but bugs have gotten worse over the last year. Regularly throws away my boarding pass, freezes and crashes, can't load my sky miles info, is there anything on this app that ISN'T broken? Don't bet your trip on it, get a paper boarding pass. Update: downgraded my score from 2 to 1 after getting a notification *2 hours after takeoff* that my zone was boarding now. Useless, broken feature; again, don't rely on it.
1 ★So far the app has functioned at the times I have needed it to (which is apparently more than other users can say). But when entering my date of birth, there was no option to select a different year! I had to manually tap a gazillion times to go back / forward 10+ years, one month at a time! At least let me input my info by typing the day, month, and year! Literally any other solution would be better. Unacceptable.
3 ★Having more and more issues recently. It's now 30 minutes before boarding and still don't even know what terminal or gate. Luckily I have a paper pass but still. If you don't want to make the feature work just remove it. 2nd issue, I wanted to add a bag to my existing check in. It makes me check in AGAIN and gill out all my info including passport info. I gave up on it and just checked it at the counter. Luckily I guessed correctly and got the right terminal by accident no thanks to this app...
