2015년은 우리에게 특별한 한해가 되기를 소원합니다.
특별하게 출발하는 것만큼이나 성도님들의 기도를 통하여 하나님의 축복이 임하고 또한 받은 하나님의 축복이 여러분을 통해서 모든 사람들에게 흘러가기를 소망합니다.
사람들에게는 새로운 것에 대한 소망을 가지고 있습니다.
새로운 것에 대한 소망을 가지고 있는 만큼이나 우리는 여전한 모습으로 하나님을 먼저 소망해야 하고 하나님을 소망하는 만큼 또한 하나님께 기도로 나아가야 한다는 것을 우리는 알고 있습니다.
그동안 믿음의 선진들을 통해 이천중앙교회가 아름답게 지어지고 부흥을 해온 것이 사실인데 이제 우리는 새로운 소망을 가지고 그 부흥을 지키는 수준을 뛰어 넘어 더 큰 부흥을 이루어 가야 할 것입니다. 새롭게 시작되는 이천중앙교회의 한해는 이전의 아픔을 품고, 새롭게 도약하는 한해를 위해 기도로 헌신할 것입니다. 눈물이 차면 예배당이 찹니다.
이전 감독님의 눈물의 목회와 그리고 성도님들의 적극적인 헌신으로 이만큼의 부흥이 이루어진 것을 잊지 않고, 다시 한번 소망의 문으로 들어가 이전에 미처 이루지 못한 것을 이루어 가는 귀한 한해가 되길 소원합니다. 그 일을 위해 더 많은 기도로 하나님께 나아갈 것입니다.
우리의 모든 일에 하나님의 개입을 바라고 낙타 무릎이 되도록 기도해야 할 것입니다.
하나님께서 새 하늘과 새 땅을 창조하실 때 이전 것은 기억되거나
마음에 생각나지 않을 것이라 했습니다.(시65:17)
너희는 내가 창조하는 것으로 말미암아 영원히 기뻐하며 즐거워 할 것이라 합니다.
우리에게 올 한해는 그런 한해가 되길 빕니다.
올 한해는 하나님의 새 창조로 인하여 영원한 기쁨이 회복되고 즐거움이 회복되는 그런 한해가 되기를 원합니다.
우리교회는 이천을 뛰어넘어 얄팍한 영성으로 인하여 세상 사람들조차 걱정하는오늘날의 교회와 시대를 치유하는 교회로 발돋움하기 위한 성도님들의 기도와 헌신을 기대합니다.
