2 ★Good idea and like the push-to-talk feature. However, lots of problems that make it not user-friendly. Can't scroll back through messages earlier than today. Messages show as unread (w/ notification orange box) even after reading them. Soft keys disappear when looking at image, very touchy/difficult to get back. Can't zoom in on image. Same as another user said. My iPhone friends love it. Wondering if this is an Apple- friendly app (I have a Samsung)
1 ★I use it a lot to talk to two of my best friends. That's the only reason I use it. It's glitchy, settings change themselves randomly, I currently can't.pit photos on because it says I need to change a setting to allow access to storage. That setting has been enabled since day 1. Sometimes it deletes whole conversations, sometimes it decides to not show or play audios, sometimes it crashes. Absolute nightmare of an app.
1 ★I have had vox messaging for a couple of years and this past weekend, it decided to do something to stupid! At first it was saying that I had a certain amount of unheard messages, but I listened to all of them. Then I was receiving notifications stating that friends were leaving me messages, but when I go to open, there is nothing there and it gives me the notification stating that there is an error loading messages. Vox deleted all of my messages, my profile and contacts, none of which is nowhere to be found! I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
1 ★Too many ridiculous issues. I've been using this app since 2016 and it's super fun and convenient when it works properly. There are so many issues of voxers cutting out, Bluetooth devices not connecting or playing properly, sound randomly blasting full volume out of your phone when you have the hand set only mode selected, notification issues, the list goes on and on. I would really love to see them overhaul this app and fix all of the stupid problems that occur.
1 ★This app used to be great when I first started using it. It's gone steadily downhill the past 2 years. There's ALWAYS a glitch of some sort. Most recently, my friends can't see pics when I send them and my messages take a few minutes to actually send. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the app and lost ALL my previous messages. Even the saved ones....Very disappointed.
2 ★It used to be great. I and my friends had the system and it worked very well. There's a function where you can save messages to your phone, and I was using that when I needed it. Now that function is broken and I've tried it on three different phones with different reinstalls to clear out the program in case of a bug. I'm trying to send feedback reports to Voxer, but they also crash and don't work, leaving me no way to resolve the problem.
1 ★Really clunky, terrible aesthetics (layout, emojis, etc.), no API available so nothing will integrate with it. Always says you have new messages when you don't and doesn't tell you when you do. No video function. You cant keep recording a message and exit out of the app so if you need to read something off your phone into a message, you cant. Nor can you turn your screen off so you might be recording a long message and bump the screen and it'll stop recording and you won't know. Oh, and good luck if you try to use the desktop version... Seems like no love went into this app at all. Whatsapp is better in every way except that you can listen to messages at 2x, 3x, or 4x speed. Truly the only feature that makes it worth having.
1 ★This used to be great but now it's just slightly better than nothing. The last few updates have broken it. The notification is too loud, which can be nice except when I'm using headphones. The messages used to be nice and loud, speaker or ear piece, now if there's any noise I can't hear at all. The constant notification tray bug that has to be manually dismissed. And the icing on the cake before I uninstall, the messages no longer play on headphones. I've even tried the pay version.
1 ★I have LOVED Voxer for years, but they have ruined it. If you switch between Wifi and Data in the middle of a voice recording (you add or drop Wifi), it trashes the message. Sometimes part of it, but usually all of it. You have it, but the person you sent it to can't get it to play. Seriously? This has been a "known issue" for a very long time, and yet they have not fixed it. This bug exists across many phones and carriers. If you use Bluetooth, what used to work great now messes up everything Bluetooth. Voxer is playing over Bluetooth? Great, but now your other apps will not. Finally get the other apps working? Voxer has gone silent. Super annoying. Last, Voxer Pro used to be nice to save all messages in a conversation, but now you have to save them one at a time. Who wants to pay for less functionality in an app that has multiple unfixed bugs?
2 ★Use app to keep in touch with clients. Even though I have the notification service turned on, the app will crash several times a day and I won't receive notification of a new message. Will also force close when I try to open it and manually check for messages. Only occasionally receives emails of new messages, which would help with the missed notifications, but because it doesn't work, almost completely useless.
1 ★The premise and aesthetic of the app is great. However over half the time we (my friends and I who use this app to stay in touch) are unable to play the messages sent. Or we can only play partial. Its been happening frequently enough that we are looking for another app to use because the frustration over sending and receiving messages that cannot be played is making it not worth the effort. If this issue was fixed we would gladly continue to use Voxer and my rating would definitely change.
5 ★Use it for work to communicate with co-workers since we all work at different buildings. I find much easier to take care of important things using the walkie talkie feature especially when you aren't able to call eachother. Texting takes too long. I'm able to get a ton of detail and information in to a 1-2 min voxer message compared to the amount of time and texts it would take to send it SMS. U are able to start listening to their response as soon as they start recording as well. Awesome app.
