3 ★Good but could use their own data better. For example, why can't you search all new build properties in Zone 3 that are within half a mile of any station!? You have to search all new build properties in Zone 3 and then check every single one for it's distance to the nearest station. It also doesn't give the functionality to search for help to buy properties and a lot of properties come up under new build that are not eligible for help to buy.
4 ★Super easy to use, and contains all the same info as the website. Only annoying thing is that some of the floorplans are transparent images, which are shown on a black background - black outline on black background = invisible. It's still possible to open it in the website via the share button though, so not entirely impossible to view, but would benefit from having a white background beneath floorplan images.
4 ★Love this app, but there's one annoying thing that's either the result of an app upgrade or android system upgrade, but I can't tell which or how to resolve...: I have email alerts set up for a saved search, and when I receive an email alert and open a link to a property from this email, it used to open in the Rightmove app, but now it opens in my web browser. Can anyone help me fix this? Many thanks
2 ★The app mostly works well apart from the link to Google maps.. When you view the location of a property, and click on the link at the bottom to open the location in Google maps it doesn't work. An error message says that Google maps is not installed (it is) or disabled (it's not)! This useful feature used to work fine, but has recently stopped working 😭
2 ★It has the basic features, but I'd really like to see the ability to filter based on things like being on leasehold vs freehold, top floor, having a terrace or garden, square footage etc. The keyword search does basically nothing. It would save users from having to wade through miles of properties that are a "hard no" for them. Also, please make the "hide" button also hide them from the map and some basic detection for re-listing properties so they wouldn't show up again.
4 ★Had issues with zoom jumping back to original area. Contacted support who advised me to remove the area filter on my search so it's set to "this area only" works brill now. On iPad it just works even with an area set. Would be useful to have the filter auto remove or be ignored when switching to map view as I would never have guessed this and it's been bugging me for ages. Customer services very prompt and helpfull
3 ★UX is better than zooplas app as journeys are far more efficient for mobile use. The map search does NOT display all the houses in the search when moved and then 'search here' is applied. Sometimes if i zoom in more and then search, new houses appear. Also it still crashes or hangs until reopened far too often. Im not sure the photos are optimised properly for the device or bandwidth but that would make a big difference if done properly.
5 ★I love this app-super easy to use, and really helpful, especially with the mortgage calculator. Areas to improve: * (like another app) adding in rough estimates of the bills in the area to the mortgage payment, so monthly outgoings are accurate. * Making the app linkable with a partner/ friend so you can see houses that one another save. And see if you have a match on a house to go and view. * Also it would be great if you could set up notifications when a house in your search area comes ul
4 ★Easy to use, although quite often the dropped pin locations of houses are wildly inaccurate. It would be better if you could filter items such as parking more closely. if this was split so that you could filter houses only with garages rather than parking, which is too general. Also when you specify detached house, quite often semi detached or cottages appear. A little annoying. Additional filters for small or large gardens may be useful too.
3 ★Every listing for either renting or buying should have the following: a floor plan, square footage, and plot size (which become filterable options). For Land listings, they should have to state whether it comes with planning permission or not (and be filterable) and see if you can make sure they all have a link to the gov website for application history. Also a buying and listing history should always be listed as well. Other than that, it's a well designed and smooth app.
5 ★It's not that bad worth installing if you are looking for a property but there's one problem when your looking for a house you can't use a postcode which refers to a bunch of areas you can only refer to one area at a time if you understand. But other than that it's a great app! Don't let the other reviews fool you! But another thing is that when your searching for a house using the filter option there should be a new home option as people like to move into new houses nowadays.
2 ★There is a bug on android with saved properties, resulting in a reccuring error message, which makes it unusable. I've reached out to the team with a screenshot and they recommended to re-install. This has not worked. So I have had no choice but to delete and find a alternative. Otherwise the app works fine hence 2 stars.
