A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★What the actual... Really? Had typed out a long message & needed to check the Tube Map to list info in my message but was inundated by adverts causing me to select one accidently, which then took me away from my message in the web page & I lost everything. A deeply intricate message outlining some serious & complext issues that took me a while to type out. Thanks for nothing man. Beyond Livid Check your UX, UI is pointless if it affects your customers negatively. Seriously. Sort it out man.
2 ★Been using this app for a few years now but it's getting ridiculous now with the constant adverts. What's worse, you cannot even skip them, they start blasting full volume every time you open the app and it takes ages to actually get back to the original screen to check the connections. I mostly use the app when I'm in the hurry so if it continues I will remove the app and go back to a screenshot of the map
2 ★The addition of intrusive adverts and an extortionate increase in the price to remove them has ruined this app. The last thing you want to deal when rushing for a train is a pop-up full screen video advert. Sure, the ad is skippable after 5 seconds but let's hope you manage to hit the little x in the without accidentally clicking on the advert itself. It is infuriating. It's a shame because otherwise this app is the well designed and works great but I can't recommend it in this state.
1 ★Map is ok, but the route planner doesn't have a leave later or arrive by option. Nowhere near as useful as the tfl website journey planner, or even tfl Go which is a seriously flawed app!
1 ★This used to be a great app. The ads have now become far too intrusive for it to be useful. If I'm not in a rush, I'd rather use citymapper. If I am in a rush, it's useless using this app due to being forced to sit through a video, selecting to not remove ads, and then having to sit through yet another video before being able to even use it. Yes, not once, but twice. I don't mind banner ads that sit alongside the content, but if ads are making it impossible to use the app, I'm afraid it's not even worth using at all. Are you really that greedy?
1 ★Waste too much time in advertisement. Very disgusting. Other than this the app is amazing but the ads should be removed otherwise i am not using it.
1 ★The level to which they now make you click to get rid of ads is disgusting. I can hardly perform a function without the app acting like it's downloaded an adware virus. They've turned what was once a useful offline app with good free featured into a moneymaking annoyance. Unless you want to pay for it don't bother using this totally disappointing app anymore.
3 ★Feature rich. Useful little app. But it let's itself down with Adverts, adverts and wait for it.. adverts. User must pay to remove adverts and unlock features that should be considered as a norm. This app should be advert free and at no cost. MapWay apps are not free as advertised in the Tube Map app. They also have Adverts and one must pay to be add free. Competitor Transport entities in other countries have "Free" apps, feature rich. TFL.. ?
1 ★The ads are way too aggressive! sometimes a barrage of 2 or more ads at once, which sometimes means I accidentally click on an ad. It's ridiculous! When that happens, I just closed the app completely and go on Google, which I'm gonna do from now on. Uninstalled until this is addressed.
1 ★It's such a shame that this app has introduced such an intrusive ad experience. This app used to be amazing and easy to use but now you can't even type in a station without having to watch 2 minutes worth of ads, which really isn't helpful when you're in a rush and trying to find out what tube you need to get on! Really disappointed.
1 ★Edit: just download TFL go, much better in every way Used to be a great app but now the ads are relentless, and designed to be intrusive as possible and pop up at a time where you're clicking on the screen so you click the ad. 23 pounds to buy the "premium" package?? Which is essentially just ad free and tells you which tube door to get on. Filthy greed from the developers.
3 ★The hidden while active "tube, night, rail, beta" drop menu is a complete disaster for the UI. Makes the whole experience glitchy and awful...it used to be buttery smooth. This is a prime example of UX because we could, not because we should, what were the design team thinking? 😂 The 5mm of realestse you safe by having it....the juice is not worth the squeeze. Please fix it 🤗
