In this update, you’ll see that we’ve introduced a new feature to messaging: bulk reply. It’s a way for you to quickly respond to multiple other users if they aren’t suitable for your room/property or if their room/property doesn’t meet your requirements. To keep your inbox manageable and organised, you can also delete those conversations afterwards with just one tap.Plus, when viewing ads for rooms/properties, you’ll now see a list of ads from the same advertiser at the bottom of the screen.

5 ★I was pretty reluctant to pay, but it was absolutely worth it. Ended up with way more options than I wouldn't had, and as a result found somewhere better and cheaper than I would've done otherwise... that money I spent will be made back in the first week of rent. App and website work really well, similar design to Zoopla and Rightmove but that little bit more user-friendly. Which actually ends up making a huge difference when you're looking at dozens of places every day.
3 ★Even when you pay these people, you don't get proper visibility. Before spareroom was much better. They promise that you can suspend your monthly premium subscription and renew it, but there is no button to do that and reactivate easily. You have to go onto the computer, watch 3 tutorials to be able to do that. So it feels they have hidden this facility on purpose, so that their promise stays only in paper. Not very ethical trading. But in the end of the day, yes you can find room mates there.
3 ★The pricing model is a bit exploitive of people in a panic to quickly find a room. It's very unclear how much benefit you really gain by paying, but many people feel compelled to pay up regardless. Also the search tool lacks one major feature: If I know the move-out date of my current place, then why would I want to always include results up to 21 days beyond that? Let us set the filters at actually want! But at the end of the day, with that said, this is still one of the best house finding apps
5 ★Well, I found a room to my liking pretty fast, and the app certainly helped make it smoother! Some landlords definitely use deceptive photos and showcase their properties in their best light though, rather than what they actually look like right now. Basically, you'll know them when you see them, follow advice for good viewings and good luck! :)
5 ★Love the facility to post a Room Wanted ad, was approached by exactly the kind of landlords with properties that matched perfectly. It would be the perfect app if one could "show interest" from the app as you do on the desktop version. Aside from that, it's definitely a 10 out of 10 and the best app available for quickly finding what's available out there. Much much better than any other room seeking app. Well done and thank you!
3 ★Great and easy to use app but doesn't do much without the upgrade - think the upgrade is a bit expensive. Inbox messages sometimes take like 20 mins to notify which could be better. Still the best tool for finding and getting rid of flats/rooms, etc. though - does the job but think they should have had a discount for upgrade during corona pandemic as properties end up listed for longer (rather than a little note to say wear a mask at viewings which isn't really that helpful).
5 ★The app itself is great. However, if you're not white, forget about getting any response from landlords, sadly.
2 ★I've had this app for a few months now and I've still found nowhere to live in the next few months. Its very easy to find matches and lots of places for your criteria, the problem is, landlords rarely reply. I've messaged plenty places and no replies at all. Also, some ads definitely seem odd as they use the same images but display different locations etc. Not holding my breathe with this one unfortunately.

5 ★A great app to advertise a spare room easy to set up and communicate on would recommend
3 ★Very good app. The advertisement flow (scrolling down the ads) is rather okay, sometimes it stucks. However, the main issue, I have noticed, is that, if multiple rooms are advertised, the filters set will not necessarily work at all. Filters consider different rooms, which may be occupied or may be much higher in rent. Those rooms that are not, in fact, being advertised, sorted by rental price.
4 ★The app is great. Really easy to work with, quite convenient, it makes the process of looking for an accommodation quite pleasant. Regardless, I have removed a star there, as I find a lot of impolite landlords who are ghosting me even when we have booked a viewing, and I would like to have the chance to grade our cooperation. Of course that's not the case with everyone, but the number of entitled a*****es in the app is embarrassing.
