How to install meross APK on Android phone or tablet?

1 ★After 3 months the widget no longer shows any devices (garage doors)......bad app update 2 weeks ago!
2 ★02/13/2021 The plugs are still good, but the app still is meh. They still have only the most simple routines to program. I'm going to drop this app and switch to a third-party one. 07/15/2020 The schedules are too simple. I want to be able to schedule the same way as a calendar event: activate every other Thursday; or activate once a month, etc. These features would be easy to implement, so it's disappointing they haven't.
5 ★seems unreliable sometimes. one device didn't get its firmware update, causing all 4 smart sockets to stop working.. have 8 smart plugs now. all working great!update 12/6/2019 now have 12 sockets. All are working great! 1/4/2020 one socket had connection problems. Meross replaced it promptly. All 12 are working great again. Two grid power surges today. No damage to any Meross socket! 2/16/2021 All 12 sockets are working perfectly, to Control lights, hot water heater and security systems.
3 ★Forgets devices all the time. I recommend you use this app only to connect your devices to google home and set up routines using the home app. The meross app will forget your devices and you will not be able to update routines without adding every device over and over. However the devices remain active on google home even when the meross app forgets them so it becomes a non issue.
4 ★It works alright. It was kind of a pain in the butt to set up, and it was a bit glitchy for the first few days. Now my lightbulbs & the app work smoothly together. It would be nice to have the ability to use the colour feature on the lights with the automatic turning on feature, too.
2 ★I had no issues setting up and getting everything to work. My only issue (a big one) is that I see no way to create groups of devices like SmartLife and other apps. Group all of my cabinet LED strips for example. How do you make changes to multiple devices at the same time to get the same color exactly for example? I am not referring to Scenes or Routines. Groups or at least Rooms should be an option.
3 ★App could be a lot better. It does not tell you if garage is open or closed, it gives you a red dot which means it is open... Or is it closed. I forget which. Also, anytime I close the garage it shows closing until I close the app and re-open it.
1 ★It's a very faulty app. It always often says it's open when it's not. I've rushed home because it said it was opened and has been open for 15 mins. This was false. It also takes a while to refresh. If they can fix the bugs, it would be a good app
5 ★A while ago at my dentist appointment I checked my security cameras as I usually do and noticed my garage door was open. Had to call my neighbor to close it. I was partially terrified because I've accumulated lots of great woodworking tools. I decided that would never happen again. I searched and found a wireless garage door controller that uses Meross. The BEST!!! No more worries. I can now close it from ANYWHERE! Hooked up fairly easy.
1 ★Sometimes the devices and routines disappear from the app. Now I can't update our create any routines. Terrible and unreliable. I can't believe Costco sells these plugs.
1 ★I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that because myself and multiple other people are having the exact same connectivity issues all on the same day (1/7/19) that the time out and lost connection issue has to do with this firmware update. as of now mine are back on and working but now google assistant is telling me its turning off 3 lights while it turns off the one light in my living room. not sure what's going on with that. like others said it affected all meross devices at the same time.
4 ★The app has been working great so far but sometimes the scheduling is a little messed up. Before the last update, the times were not being saved if I changed them. Since the last update, this seems to be fixed but now I can't take Saturdays off of the schedules. I was trying to create a schedule for our Christmas lights but I can't deselect Saturday for my weekday schedule. It works on my wife's iPhone, but not on my S8, so I was able to fix the schedule using her phone. Otherwise, it's an easy to use app.
