How to install LIFX APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download LIFX APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.lifx.lifx-v4.56.1-ApkClean.apk)

2 ★The lights are great, and when the app decides to see the lights, they work perfectly. The app itself is terrible. I'm running Andriod 9. When you're pairing the lights it's supposed to refresh the page, hasn't done so yet. I found i have to force close the app or even restart my phone before i can continue to pair the light. And god forbid you forget you have the lights and you turn it off at the switch. everytime thats happened the app loses the light.
2 ★Set this up with my first bulb and was pretty impressed as my partner is handicapped and this made it easier for him to control the light. After the first week, I start getting the message from Alexa that the "the light is not responding, please check the network connection" Used the trouble shooting and turned the light on and off a few times. It then responded. Next day...same thing. This defeats the purpose. If this can' t be fixed, ill be switching to another brand.
1 ★Switched to a new router and after many, many attempts, can not get the bulb to connect. Have done the research, tried everything suggested by lifx but still no success. I am not a newbie to these devices either. Total extremely frustrating device and app. I have wasted enough time and patience and am now done. Switching to another brand for all the smart lights.
2 ★I LOVE you LifeX but your app crashes often, but when it works... it freakin works wonders! I'm having problems where usually if I go out of my home Wi-Fi range I can't--even though the lights are connected to the cloud-- turn them off or on, etc. And when I get back in range & reconnect to my Wi-Fi I will have to reprogram either all or most of the lights because it shows them disconnected. I've tried all the settings to no avail. Love your products, just not this app!!à
1 ★Had a few manageable issues with Lifx prior to the latest update, but this update has rendered my entire setup unusable. Lights keep disconnecting from app, despite being connected to my router. This forces me to factory reset them which usually requires me to set up, have it fail, and reset around 5-10 times. Their support is non-existent, and with their latest logistics issues, I believe it's complete abandonware. After years of using Lifx products I give up. Don't bother with them.
1 ★This app is the absolute worst app to have ever been developed in existence. Literally anything that can go wrong in the app, does in fact go wrong, daily. It'll either not show the correct power status, say the connected bulb is disconnected requiring multiple app clears, turn on then immediately turn itself off when trying to just turn it on, effects will either not remain playing, constantly crashing, or won't stop playing even after turning off the effects. Absolutely worthless app
1 ★Update broke the app. Now is completely unusable. Hangs. Closes itself instead of responding. Finds different lights each time but usually won't control them. Sometimes finds no lights. Light color settings don't respond. Effects are missing options when they're even accessible. Update- no improvement. Update: app is now stable but most of the group controls are broken. Always have to control lights individually.
2 ★I really like your lifx light system but I have had problems. One of those problems is I bought additional lights but could not get them to connect choose an app on my phone. I'm lucky that the one single one that I have does work? you need to have a feature with your lights and other products Square on the light itself or the box that the light comes in it would be nice if you had a QR code so you could have a different way of connecting the app and your devices through Wi-Fi. I like your light.
1 ★I've had LIFX for a couple years and the bulbs are excellent, but this app has gotten progressively worse. The UI is just awkward and doesnt flow right. They did a big overhaul a year or less ago and its just flat out bad. And the glitchiness of scenes not loading or unable to find the bulbs when opening the app, etc, is nuts. Again, I've had this app and the bulbs for 2-3 years, so its not a new experience to me.
1 ★Thanks, I hate the new UI. It took a powerful app with lots of settings and information easily available and reduced it to some boxes with rounded edges... To not intimidate new users? PLEASE give me a LEGACY MODE. Or something. Most of my house is LiFX, and I'm always looking for more, but this could be the end of it, because burying previously simple tasks gets old really fast.
1 ★I almost never review anything. But i am extremely dissatisfied with Lifx. Neither of the 3 lights I have will connect to my phone. All 3 bulbs show up as ready to pair on the app.The app gives me a loop of connecting errors. I have very good wifi too. I tried support and trouble shooting, no connections were made at all. Also 2 bulbs shorted out very fast. I am going back again because of this. I'm done with these.
1 ★So new layout to something that was working fine. Now every time I open the app I need to make it force quit before I can see any of my bulbs. Even if that was fixed, now I need to get used to my scenes being on a different page. In the old version I was able to just see my scenes right there on the home screen. Scenes are the only thing I use in tbe app as turning my lights on and off are all done through automation in my daily routine. So annoyed at this change.
