Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Works Great. Exactly as advertised.
1 ★I don't really know what this app does but I'm also not a sheep so I've never updated it and it hasn't broke my phone.
1 ★It's own description says that it's wrong for my phone.
1 ★New phone. Switched everything over from my Pixel 3. Same Google Fi service I've had for years. This seems to be either a phone or app issue but I keep getting SIM manager bug reports. This will be fixed eventually, I'm sure, as nothing is perfect, but I expect better with what I'm paying for this. Reviewing other reviews here and I'm not the only one. I'll amend this report when the problem is fixed.
1 ★Just switched to Google Fi. Brand new Pixel 4a 5G. This app pops up roughly once a minute with a crash report. None of the options do anything. Force close doesn't delay the next pop up. Sending a crash report so far does nothing. I have tried to update the system and the app and nothing seems to help. I can't find a solution to this problem. Please fix this issue. Update: I uninstalled this app and my phone is working fine without issue. I turned off the autoupdate so it shouldn't come back.
2 ★Like a lot of users in this forum I also had to uninstall this app. I just got my pixel 5 today and went through 2 hours of setup and every 2 minutes this app crashed also giving annoying pop-up windows. I uninstalled, reinstalled, remove the SIM card nothing fixed it until I just uninstalled it. So far an hour later it hasn't popped up again and things seem fine. But I'm wondering what will happen next time I reboot. I guess I'll just keep checking back for app updates
1 ★If I could give zero Stars I would. I just got the new Google Pixel 5 and just like other users have been having continual problems with this stupid app. To temporarily fix the error once the message "SIM Manager keeps stopping" pops up, I clicked on App Info, then the three dots in the upper right of the screen, then uninstall updates. That worked until I made a phone call and then I had to do it again.
1 ★Voicemail notification not working
1 ★App continues to crash every couple of minutes. No one in support can help. I am going to uninstall if a trip to the vzw store doesn't help. Google needs a patch for this ! 🤬 I just turned off notifications for the app. It was so annoying every 3 minutes.
1 ★Wish I'd never heard of this app. There's no need for me to know about it. Yet, it pops up every few minutes telling me it's stopped working. I don't want to hear about it not working. Just work!!! 1 Star... only because you can't rate it ZERO stars. I have a rational hatred for this poor app.
1 ★While factory version does seem to work, any upgrades seem to result in constant "crashes" and disruptions in service. Uninstalling to factory version seems to resolve the issue. Expect better of a core service for phones not using physical SIM cards.
1 ★This is a Google system app that keeps crashing on my pixel 5 since the latest Android 11 update was installed this week. Google needs to be able to fix this until then I see most people just uninstall it which doesn't actually uninstall but downgrades it to the factory version and then set it not to automatically update I will give that a go
