Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★0 stars if I could. Doesn't work with anything now because Chamberlain wants to get you to use their app exclusively for ad revenue. Since they took those integrations away, I put my garage door opener remote back in my car. It's easier (and safer) to press the button on the clicker then it is to bumble around in the car to unlock my phone, open the app, wait for it to load and then press and hold the button to two seconds to open it remotely. utterly useless as an app and as a company.
2 ★Useless ads on a product that I've paid for. The ads fall into 1 of 2 catagories; functions/products I already have or functions/products that aren't compatible with my system. App is difficult to maneuver. No longer works with any smart home ecosystems (Google, Apple, Alexa). Currently, I'm looking for a better solution for my automated smart garage needs.
2 ★I wanted to check video history. I clicked door open/close event and it popped up the video storage subscription dialog to ask me to subscribe. I thought after I subscribe, I can see the video history. However, that's not true. Clicking the door open/close event has no effect at all. It just lured me for the purchase. And I cannot find an email or a form to ask for refund. Bad user experience.
1 ★I really don't think I should have to clarify that I don't want ads in an app that I have already paid for the companion product. The app is laggy, doesn't always communicate with the base, and frequently just won't open the door/throws an error. Rather than shoving promotions for other products on the home screen, maybe fix the issues the app has, or finally make a widget compatible with Android.
1 ★In 2023, the hardware and software built into the new garage door opener seem to be stable. We'll see how it does when it gets really cold. The lack of integration with Google Assistant and it's competitors is very disappointing. The new ads and the app are distracting and useless because I'm not going to invest in their lockdown systems. And I don't want Amazon or UPS opening my garage. Give me a reasonably priced alternative that connects to my home, and I will ignore MyQ forever.
1 ★What a bunch of trash!!! Notifications are delayed all the time, or totally missing. They dropped Google home integration, for no good reason. The app home screen shows ancient snapshots of the opener cameras, what use is that?? I want to see a quick snap of the live feed. The only good thing is the keypad with the camera that I can control with adding/removing users. They have the audacity to charge for these "Smart" access and video storage. This is basically a corporate greed & joke
1 ★Get with the program. Almost every smart device out there works with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Apple's Homekit. If there's no official integration, there's a 3rd party route at least (Home Assistant, IFTTT, etc.). This app (which is the ONLY method of viewing door status and being able to control if you aren't home) that only works half the time. So now I have an unreliable app for an opener that won't work with anything else. AND now you have in-app ads? Disappointing.
1 ★Recent changes this app have made it nearly unusable. Sadly, this app now displays advertisement at the very top and I cannot find a way to disable it. This is very disturbing and on top of it, it moves my garage opening button out of the visible part of the screen. So to use it I now have to first look at the ads, then scroll down and hope to find my button. I don't want ads in an app that I have already paid for the companion product.
1 ★The ads are beyond ridiculous and unnecessary. Takes up the top third of the screen when it should only show my different openers. Also the lack of smart home integration is really confusing and very backwards thinking. If myQ doesn't allow for more integration for a smart home ecosphere, I guarantee their competition will and that's where I'll buy my future devices from. Get with the times and what consumers want or get left behind.
1 ★Unnecessary loaded with ads and features. Just needs a simple u.i. one button. That's it. You wanna add and extra to choose the device ok I get it. Every time I jump in the app, I am prompted with " what device would you like to set up". I have to navigate over to my device I want. It's not a killer thing, but using the physical device is what I'm going to revert to using rather than the app. Don't care for it.
2 ★Goes off line and wifi signal is strong. Getting to be real pain in butt. About ready to remove whole system. Plus I get adds that are difficult to remove, I believe they are problem with going off line. It is 11-22-23 I am about ready to through this system in trash as I cannot count on it. Keeps saying it's off line, I changed units location. It is about 10ft from router that is working fine. Adds keep scrolling but opener off line? Then all of a sudden it works back on line.
2 ★It works about every 2 in 5 times. Reliability is practically pointless. Yes opener is compatible and of course resynced a few times. I can be 10 feet or 50 feet from router and nothing. Usually have to go to garage and manually activate. Fun part is the unit then tells me it's now in open or close status. In short whatever the tech used on openers it must be dark ages or poorly thought out versus good old direct connect.
