2 ★Search function is horrible. 9 out of 10 times I can't find my item. What's typically displayed is "We were not able to find a match. Try another search or shop related products." Hard to find sales on items Costco carries regularly as well as new items. Sounds intentional to get you to visit store. Not sure how much longer I need it installed but barely use it and when I do it's essentially useless.
1 ★Trying to renew my membership and continue to receive error after error stating "my payment method is out of compliance with the contract chosen ". Tried multiple cards types, tried enabling and disabled renewal options, modifying storage of my payment method, and reread the agreement term and conditions for something i was doing wrong or not accepting, but nothing works. In addition, the app won't take an update of my billing address, so I have to re-enter it every time I received an error.
1 ★If I could give this app 0 stars I would. To describe what I had to go through just to add my Costco Citi card to my digital membership is a joke.. and involved having to update my call settings on my phone as well as the call settings on my watch so that I could answer through my watch and use the dial pad on my watch without my phone screen switching over to the phone app cause it kept cancelling out the verification screen to start over and I didn't have a text option. So. Glitchy and slow.
3 ★Recent app updates have made it so I can no longer zoom product images when shopping for same day orders. That means I can no longer read ingredients on food items. Costco does not provide detailed product information in same day shopping. Thus, the ability to zoom images to read information is really essential. This is especially important for those of us who need to avoid specific ingredients in foods, supplements, or personal care products. Please change it back to zoomable images!
1 ★App isn't updated to what items they all have in store like the Sam's Club app nor allows for pickup order, nor fill up on gas like the competitors app. I also had to go in store 4 times to set up my ecard. God forbid the app let me do this myself or just do it automatically. Also, shipping is added to the price of every item, so you can't see what price it actually is in store so no comparing to prices elsewhere. There's no extra convenience I can find to the app conpared to using the website.
3 ★Forgot I reviewed this. It's become more useful through the years, but has returned to frequent login problems for the pharmacy. Keeps going to the login page, no matter how much it says successfully logged in. Not impressed that the fingerprint login basically just fills in the password page and still has that step. I still miss the photo centers, this app was great to pick up a fast photo (as a parent, when I need a photo printed, it's usually for a school project and I need it now).
2 ★App is buggy during ordering. The worst possible time for it to flake out is when you're placing a big order and you're not sure if it went through and when you hit place order it shows you a screen that says page not found. Then you do it a couple more times and finally have to go to the web page on a PC to see how many times you placed the same order. Luckily this time only once, still it should not have happened. However I do LOVE Costco. Their customer support is absolutely top notch.
2 ★App is pretty basic and you can't expect to find everything in a timely manner. I'm a member of Sam's club also and there app is so much more advanced, the scan and go feature is a game changer. Not having to load then unload to scan reload then unload again in the car for the privilege of talking to one of your "friendly" cashier's is nice.
1 ★This app might be the only reason I don't keep my membership and I've only had it for a month. The app shouldn't go back to start if I go to type in a search bar. Same Day shouldn't be in a subportion if the app that VANISHES if I hit go to search for something TO BUY SAME DAY. Correcting an order after it's been placed is more difficult than making the order in the first place, which still took an hour with the app glitching. I don't even like Sam's Club but their app is at least functional.
1 ★Useless for Same-Day Delivery on Android phones/tablets. Stopped allowing me to expand/magnify product pics. The app never puts "details" under the "DETAILS," so there's NO product info, e.g., ingredients, nutrition, or lists of items in sets. I'm surprised the software designers bother to list prices or quantity/count of items included. I can't shop in the warehouse due to transportation issues, so I depend on delivery. But not for Costco's Same-Day Mystery Products! SMART & FINAL, HERE I COME!
1 ★The app keeps logging me out at the worst times. One time, I was on the checkout line, and when it was finally my turn, I tried to show my membership. At that moment, the app logged me out. Worse, there was no internet signal with TMobile at that spot, which rendered the entire app useless. I had to leave the line, find a spot with cell signal, log back in, and try to pay again. Needless to say, I really don't like this aop.
4 ★the app is generally pretty good. I have two primary issues, one is that it is hard to figure out if the item you are looking for is in stock at your preferred store or another nearby store, and the app doesn't automatically sign me into my account, so I don't see member pricing without looking at my profile first. other than those two issues, the app is great.
