3 ★Good app overall, however the developers coded it to max out the screen brightness when viewing the deals page, totally overriding my phone's brightness settings. This transition to full brightness is quite jarring, especially when I'm looking at coffee deals immediately after waking up. Perhaps their management thought that this would subitily increase my probability of buying something. I can't say for sure, but doing this is a dick move in general. My configurations are there for a reason.
5 ★The app is really nice! The options are very clear, and I found a few options I didn't know about! If you order Caribou at all, this is a good thing. Today I got a bag of coffee beans and two drinks, all covered by my perks The pick up was a bit confusing the first time but the staff made it easy. It could be better if I could use multiple rewards on the same order, but I got around it by placing multiple orders.
1 ★Whoever redesign the app should be beaten about the head with a bag of coffee. If the app is working, I cannot do a reorder like I could with the old app (if I can, I cannot find that feature), the drinks drop off from the app so I cannot find them one day but I can the next. If the point of the app is to save me time by preordering then you have seriously failed. I've had to go to the register more times to order drinks since the new app was released than I have all of last year.
1 ★Who would want to pay extra for using an app that literally doesn't even work?! Double charged IF it even will place an order(you will be charged for the order that didn't even get placed) and you ARE paying more for the same thing as if I ordered at the register. Won't use this app ever again. Especially since they don't seem to care to fix it, this has been an ongoing issue for a Long time.
3 ★It was good until it kicked me out. One day I suddenly was kicked out then had to relogin. After I try and accept the terms and conditions, still can't move forward. Hard reset my phone cause an employee suggested that and still didn't work. I really loved the convenience of order ahead but it's been a few weeks since I could use the app.
5 ★This app makes it very easy to keep track of points so you know exactly what benefits you have. The mobile order is a godsend and is super simple to use. You have to transfer money to the online card which is a pro and con but certainly makes it easy to budget coffee outings without breaking the bank. The daily trivia is fun to play as well, even when not ordering anything that day. Overall a very good app to have if you frequent Caribou.
1 ★New app absolutely terrible. Very very slow and seems to have bugs when adding/deleting items. Bring the old app back please. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, it does. If I see "Oops, we spilled our coffee one more time, I'm going to find a new place to get coffee. Negative 5 stars. I also like how no one who can fix this bothers to read the reviews. No one likes it and it only keeps getting worse.
3 ★The app seems fine so far. I wish that I could just use it to check in instead of shouting my phone number into the call box, but thats a training change not the app. The only thing I really dont like is that theres no option to add sweetener to my drink when I order through the app. Which, if anyone has ever put sugar in a cold coffee drink, you know it just sits as grit at the bottom. If I could order it ahead, they could mix it with the espresso.
1 ★Update 3/27/23....re-installed. STILL DOESN'T WORK. Now you can't get your upgrades from the store even!!The app loads, shows what you can do, but you can't actually do it! It won't acknowledge commands. When you 'x' out, the app goes blank (white page)! When it works, the set up doesn't differentiate between getting a free coffee (upgrade) and getting money off for an upgrade. Apparently per the staff you can't do free coffee upgrades through the app! Why not?
3 ★I really loved the app and the perks, but for the last few weeks every time I attempt to use the app it says 'oops something went wrong' and it won't load the app itself . I have uninstalled reinstalled and closed out of my phone I have no idea what's wrong. (I have a galaxy s4 ). if the app does work for you though it's pretty fantastic and the perks really help me!
1 ★Your app is great for customers to choose how to redeem rewards, order ahead, ect. However, you're really failing at optimizing this app for business.I'll get a notification and start reading, example, "Jump into spring with..." Then click to finish reading (as that's all that fits in my notification), it'll open the app, and I CANNOT FIND THAT NOTIFICATION ANYWHERE IN THE APP!! Business fail. Was it a free upgrade? I would've made a trip for that! But, No idea what it was, so I'll pass on bou.
1 ★Loved the app for good long time. Now, my rewards aren't discounted, but since I selected one, such as a free drink, the points are gone. So i have paid full price for drinks, with the app telling me I am using a reward, more than once. I have contacted the company 3 times with no response. App malfunctions and disappearing points with no discounts means I rarely visit caribou any longer.
