1 ★What a horrible update! I liked previous version - it was easy to navigate, I could save my favorite recipes (they are all gone now) ... It's UX/UI design was good. After the update I can say - this is the worst update I've ever seen in my life for a product or an app. It seem like MS is trying to make orders harder to skip/edit so some people won't do it? I would like to add a note here - I love their services. But I'll probably repurchase only when app is fixed and user friendly again.
3 ★Good recipes, but big issues. At least 3 major issues for me. 1. Recipe translation doesn't exist. I have the app set to English but my recipes are in Dutch and I don't speak the language so I'm constantly just using translation software. 2. Customisation based on food preferences is not very good yet. Ex. I'm not alergic to Kale or Zucchini, I just hate the taste, but I can't filter these out so I have to constantly check the recipes for stuff I don't want to eat. 3. Too much packaging.
1 ★Older versions of the app were better. Now it is too cluttered with the 'add ons' and 'extras' and 'still hungry' sections. I just want to quickly select my weekly meals and save them. Please put all of the other available options under their own tabs so we are not forced to navigate through those areas when we just want to select from the regular recipes. Also disappointed at the number of premium meals now that cost extra without any additional special ingredients that I can see
4 ★On the whole this is an excellent, functional app. And Marley Spoon takes a lot of the "mental work" out of meal planning. You just decide what you want to eat for the week and the ingredients turn up. However I removed one star because it is impossible to receive help from within the app for times when there is something missing or wrong with the delivery. There is no chat function, and when you select the email address it goes to an error message in the app instead of your email client.
1 ★App still rubbish! I don't understand why companies constantly change their apps and invariably make them worse. Who complained about the last version? Everything is harder to find, takes longer or is gone. E.g you can't search old recipes that you've ordered. You have to manually search previous orders. Calorie information is now two taps instead of one. Ordering is slower because your choices hide, requiring another tap to unhide. Go back!
1 ★Do not update to the new version! They have removed the recipe index so now I can't access older recipes that I used to have saved digitally. Very disappointed with the change. The new app is clunky and slow. Update: they haven't fixed the recipe section and I can't see any of my old boxes from last year! Still not ordering until it's fixed.
1 ★Terrible update. This app just updated and the new version is awful. Much harder to navigate, I can't look at the recipes that are being packed to plan for the week - ie cooking time, allergens, ingredients in case I want to buy a little extra to make more serves due to guests coming. Also can no longer favourite recipes and look through old recipes etc. Please roll back to the old version.
1 ★Absolutely terrible customer service do not deal with them! Will take your money and not fix their mistakes. I changed my recipes in the app but it defaulted to the original meals I cannot eat. When I email them it took ages to locate my account even though I emailed from the app signed in. Then all I got was it's too late to change it we don't want to waste food. Nothing to actually fix the problem or offer refund. Such a bad experience.
1 ★My experience with this app and the service has been painful. App crashes constantly, meal selection won't record what I want and just gives me the default menu. I skipped an order but its now being delivered on a different day, when I specifically selected for it not to be delivered. For something I was hoping would simplify my life with a meal plan I can choose it has been a disaster.
3 ★This is a review of the app, not the product and service. I think the app is okay but certainly can do better e.g. it'll be helpful if each meal can be exported to a calendar app, or introduce a meal planning calendar that can sync with calendar app of one's choice. The menu update on the app also lags that of what's on the website by several days, which can certainly be improved upon.
1 ★Can't even log in to this app because my credentials "don't match the input format" yet they're the same creds as I use to login via web.
1 ★The new update is not an improvement. The fact that you can't click into the recipes you will be receiving in the coming week to check ingredients is very frustrating. The old update made it very easy to check the information and buy extra if you need to pad a recipe for any reason. While the new update looks good it got rid of a very good feature making it frustrating for anything other than choosing upcoming recipes
