How to install Control-R ™ APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Control-R ™ APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads

1 ★Fantastic Heater, Horrible App. I am a custom home builder, I build mostly "dream" homes and second/third etc. homes. My clients always want the most automation they can get in there homes so I am very familiar with just about any system that can be put in a house. I say all this as qualification to tell you that the 'Control-R' system is hands down the worst tech that I have, to date, experienced. I have always recommended the rinnai tankless heater, it has been bulletproof. Until fixed, run.
1 ★I have the supposedly new version of this app which was released in January 7-10 days ago. suffice it to say, they haven't fixed anything. It still sucks. if you log off so you can't log on again unless you reinstall the app. If you have more than one Rinnai, you can pair with the first one but not with the second one. in general, another bad job. Probably I'll be taking them back.
1 ★Before 2 updates ago, it sorta worked to connect to 2 of my RUR199iN water heaters. Whatever they did to the app, made the wifi completely useless. I honestly don't know how you even release this app when so many people are complaining about getting it to connect or work. Take pride in the company and get this damn app fixed. It is such a pity that your QA standards are non existent. It is better to advertise no wifi than to put out something that just takes up space on your phone! What a shame!
1 ★App is a real let down! Can't login, can't change password, and can't change any settings? What good is the Control-R for except for the pretty blue light?
2 ★this app worked fairily good since I got this tankless hot water system in May 2019 until i realized that it was burning over 300MB of cell data a month in the background. when i restricted background data a week later i realized app became useless because my unit is offline no matter what I do. Edit: Got it working again a few months ago by doing factory reset, but lately I can't even do that to connect to it. It doesn't seem to be this app but rather the black box WiFi is no longer working...
3 ★Registering on the Google Pixel 1st Gen wasn't successful. I received failed Javascript messages, Server 404 after getting through. Apple ios was successfully manually plugging in the Serial. Update: If scheduling doesn't work, make sure you chose the correct timezones. I hppe the App developers make sure users put in the right timezone. Other design suggestions: Buttons that look like buttons. Also there should be notes that suggest that the system fan stay on to exhaust vocs.
1 ★Does not register the water heater in the last step of setup. I have tried the setup multiple times after resetting Control-R but it's the same result Everytime. The blue light starts blinking which means it's connected to WiFi but fails to register so it does not appear in the app and you can't use the app for controlling till it's registered. iPhone app does work better.
2 ★not happy with the app. I have the red triangle right come on. I click on it to see what's wrong, choose sensei models and I get an error saying too many devices. go back and check other models same thing. latency with changing temps is terrible. Absolutely no explanations on things. i expected a lot more from this app

1 ★it's a really bad app I was told that it would help me to customize and personalize my hot water settings for each person in my house. Not so. It contains technical information and jargon that might be of use only to the technician who installed it. which is upsetting because that is the only reason I agreed to the extra money for the wifi module
1 ★I could not register my account using this app unless I used the iOS app for registration. The iOS app seems to have more features & is robust. It allowed me to register & activate the account, as well as connect to the Wi-Fi module. It also allowed me to set the the recirculation schedule which the Android app did not allow me to do. The Android app also does not allow setting up the time zone unlike the iOS app. Rinnai should pull this half baked app from the Play store and redevelop it.
