2 ★So as of this morning my robot went crazy. Found it didn't redock after 4am clean. At 4pm run it completely ignored my no go lines and it was trying to hammer itself through the obstacle that has a no go lines. I canceled the run and used the app to ask it to go back to base and it drove towards the base and then proceeded to move as far away as it could possibly go in the other direction. Manually put it back to base. App tells me neato has update but will not run it
3 ★There have been a lot of great suggestions to improve this app and robot experience and I wonder why there have been no updates on the app for over a year. This is too competative of a market to sit idle and let others pass you by when Neato has such a strong robot.
3 ★App states it needs to update but no update available. Frustrating it's been over a week of me waiting And checking daily to see if this app store shows an update and it does not but I cannot activate my vacuum through the neati app because it's telling me that it requires an update!
1 ★Almost 2021 and this app does not have a dark theme. Also, there are so much potentialities but the app offers almost nothing. No new developments... Nothing new. The app slowly starts to stay behind others similar apps and clean robots. Sad....
2 ★Every time it asks for an update i must uninstall and reinstall the new app ... also the internet config must be done again ... as for the rest, my D4 runs decently, some errors once in a while but cleaning is good.
2 ★Not at all user friendly. The user interface is very illogical. Also has not been updated for ages. You would think if you buy a vacuum cleaner of 500+ euros that they at least add features and fix bugs. Quite disappointing of Neato.
4 ★Great app, setting the floor plan is easy, however the app assumes I have perfectly square/rectangle rooms and hallways. For example my hallway is a "L" shape, there is no way to set up a zone that is a shape of an L without making two zones with the same name! The map becomes super messy overtime. Other than that, it was relatively easy to setup and configure the D7.
1 ★There is no fucntion for adding no go lines, and saving floor plans. After a floor plan cleaning is completed, there is only one option to "share" on map view, nothing more!
3 ★The app seems to have stopped functioning as it should. It used to show when it was cleaning but recently has stopped showing this and has started to deteriate more. Its stopped showing me if the neato is stuck and I no longer have the return to base option it just continues to show the play button even when it's running. Is there a fix? I would have given it five stars but the recent issues with the app are making it harder to use.
3 ★App itself is not too bad. However, when my neato encounters a problem. I get redirected to the website through the app. Always to pages that don't exist - 404. Should be an easy fix.
4 ★My first time using a Botvac and the app, the experience is great and everything was easy to set up. The bot cleans the rooms well and have no problems returning to the base, im highly impressed! Some personal additions i would like to see though. - The ability to mark more than one zone would be nice. - Shape the zones to fit the room designs, as i have some L shaped rooms. - Being able to see a live/recorded map of where the bot is/went would be great. But yeah great app regardless!
2 ★Necessary evil if you have a robot, otherwise you cannot use it. The app is poorly designed and does not offer much functionality. It is absolutely annoying that updates lose all previous info, including login credentials. I need to use the app to schedule days and times of cleaning and set boundaries. That's about it. How complex does the app need to be and why the heck it cannot update without losing all previous information.
