2 ★I have been thinking about getting this for quite a while sounded like it would be a good tool to compare against my electric bill. After using it for about 30 days it didn't identify anything in my house. It grouped everything into only two groups always on or other. Very disappointed that it was never able to identify appliances and devices running in my home. No way to help it learn by turning on one device at a time. I ended up returning it.

4 ★Still unable to identify all electrical devices in my house after 5 years. still good, able to identify 85% of them.

1 ★The ability to opt out of notications gets overwritten each time I exit the notifications menu. Not allowing opting out of product notification and other forced propts is terrible.

3 ★Would be nice if I could turn my appliances on and have the app recognize my devices immediately. Cooling, heat, water heater, etc.

1 ★The Sense Energy Monitor is almost Useless after years of use, I can say this thing completely fails at its job. Misidentifies devices—one day my fridge is a microwave, the next my PC is a washing machine. You STILL can’t manually tag devices, and it never learns correctly. Want two monitors on one account? 4.6 is a laughable rating, they must be removing reviews. Edit - Sense responded below. These items have been requested by its community for over 5 years. Their response borders on a lie.

1 ★Had a sense device for a year or so then upgraded to a new one with solar. Haven't been able to get it to work. Can't contact support. Sending it back. Disappointed Its been 2 years now with no resolution. Its seems sense device just wont seen my wifi. Been through router settings, firewall settings, rebooted mutliple times. It sees it during bluetoothscan but wont connect. TRime to go another direction. Wish I could get my money back. Very disappointed

1 ★After 3 yrs still cant detect appliances in use and shown as other..bad app or system..sometime detects vacuum other times new motor ..

4 ★the app is really good and the device has been running without issue for 4 years in my home. however the detection technology is just not compatible with modern energy saving devices so most of the promised utility from Sense is monitoring overall usage. sure, it detected simple devices like the coffeemaker and air fryer but the HVAC, washer/dryer, induction oven, none of these high power devices ever got detected.
