Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★The app won't load the information on the "Now" page without rotating the device. Afterwards the data loads and the device can be rotated back, until you click to another page and your back to square one. Was this even tested with the latest Android?
3 ★Sense home electricity monitor is a great concept. It was easy to install, the app is very intuitive but needs a lot of work. It takes a long time for software to pick out individual electrical signatures. Some things such as a AC unit with heavy draw don't show up. Its nice to see how much wattage an appliance uses be watching app but nothing the software identifies is readily identified. I would like to be able to watch the graph and be able to touch a point in time to label something.
1 ★Somehow Sense has blocked my review on Amazon. Real classy. I've had the sense solar system for over a month now. I bought it to keep track my Tesla usage. Most things it senses are inaccurate. It thinks the blender and the shredder is the garage door. Almost everything in my house is "other" because it is really bad at sensing. There should be a way to train it. For simple power consumption, it's fine, but way over priced. If it actually worked, it would be worth. Quite disappointing.
3 ★This experience has a lot of potential. But it's not quite there. I've had it for just under a month and it identified some stuff. However, the app said our dishwasher ran continuously for 12h straight, which is false, and I still don't know what device that is. I wish I had more insight into what the app is trying to detect so I can nudge it in the right direction. Like when my Tesla comes on it's very clear what device that is, but so far sense hasn't found it.
2 ★Poor response time, it takes forever to show my consumption vs solar bubbles. Sense says it has "found" multiple items, but most of them have the same name as items that already are being tracked and most if not all, I only have one real item by that description. For example pump. I have a well and one pump sense says I have 2. LG TV, I have 1 and sense says I have 2. Refrigerators, I have 1 refrigerator and sense says I have 2, but with each of the seconds of these they run so sporadic, The list degrades into motor or heat with very little to go by to determine what they are. On the duplicates, I can't determine if they are actually related to the first some how. I wish I could see the heuristic information generated somehow on these dups, so I can rule them out or combine them if they are in fact the same. I have more and more ignore my sense because it causes me to be frustrated at the lack of interaction I can have with resolving anything in it and it takes forever for it to identify a new item. Like my new freezer that has been running and cycling on and off for a few weeks now. I would like to know what it is costing me, but sense does not seem to have a clue that it exists On the other hand I love and use my PWRview (used to be neurio) multiple times per day because it responds quickly when I want to know how my solar vs consumption is going.
1 ★I've used Sense for over two years and the supposed ability to automatically determine what devices are connected is a bad joke. I've practically begged for the implementation of manual device registration to no avail. The fanfare which surrounds the integration of "smart plugs", which can do a lot but not all of what Sense claimed to do, is little more than a celebration of throwing in the towel on the original concept. Save your money, I wish I had. UPDATE: Sense support was never able to help.
4 ★We have a 2 unit apartment with a single 200 amp entrance. Sense seems to find all of the devices, but for some devices, often they are reporting they are on, likely due to the devices being too similar. I jumped on the extra clamps for the dedicated circuit so that I could clamp it on the 220v feed to the 2nd apartment's sub panel, but when setting it up it warned that it was actually only for a single device. My fault, I probably misread the promotional email. Perhaps in a software update :)
1 ★Good concept, but inconsistent results. After more than a year it still doesn't know enough devices to be useful. It also stops registering usage for devices it once knew. Save your money. EDIT: This app has gone from bad to worse. now it shows all usage as either "Always On" or "Other"
3 ★This app is unpolished. It hangs up a lot. It demands you enable GPS. Changing screen orientation from portrait to landscape forgets how you had the screen zoomed/sized. There are size presets, but the presets are rarely the size you want. When in landscape view, there are no navigation buttons, you have to rotate back to portrait. Sometimes the app forgets your chart data and you have to restart the app. This app is OK, but it needs a lot more polish. Use the web app instead: home. sense. com
4 ★App handshakes seamlessly with the Sense unit. I'm reserving one start for the ability to tap a "17w" or "1253w" (+/-) to identify WHAT I just turned on. That would speed up the learning / teaching of the unit significantly. Overall, the data geek in me is thrilled. I can't wait to track down all the power leaks in the house and property.
3 ★Unfortunately did not work as expected. Having multiple and repeated appliances was too much for this gadget. Kept forgetting appliances and adding new ones or confusing basement vs attic HVACs. I can see this system working better on small homes with single appliances. It needs a manual way to enter appliances very badly. Also it could be an asset for solar equipped homes. For me it was just an expensive all use KWH meter. I have that with my electric company app. So I returned it.
4 ★Great way to keep track of your power usage. Just 1 issue and a suggestion. Issue is if my internet drops out or there is a brown out the unit has a hard time establishing back on line when everything is back to normal. My suggestion is please add tier pricing and times. We have 3 tier pricing but I can only have one so the cost is inaccurate. This would be highly beneficial to many I'm sure.
