2 ★The app works for the basics: adding lightbulbs, creating groups, adding controllers, setting colour presets, etc. However, there is a 5-10 second delay to turn lightbulbs on, and sometimes it doesn't turn all the lightbulbs in a group. Doing the same with the separate remote works instantly without fail. On top of that, I am experiencing crashes. Please fix those issues and it will be a great app. edit: This is happening with EGLO Fueva Connect LED panels.
1 ★Utter garbage. Nearly useless. Needs constant restarts because of connection failures. Connection takes ages, often fails completely or connects and the disconnects immediately, several times in a row. With multiple lights most of the time only one random light gets connected. The solution is to switch non-connecting lights completely off for a few seconds. Often several times. Good luck if you didn't install a physical power switch. Remote works flawlessly but can't control schedules.
4 ★I recently noticed a bug in the app. When you go to Schedule and Dawn simulator and select the days, the day will select, but it doesn't light up. So I can't see which days I've selected. My bulb is the ElgoBulb A60, I've tried everything to solve the issue. (Restart the app, reinstall the app, Restart my phone, reset the bulb.) It would be good, if you could solve the bug as soon as possible. Thank You.
1 ★You need an account to control a Bluetooth lamp. That's just stupid and unnecessary. Another issue I'm having since the initial setup is, that I can't connect to the lamp anymore. I always have to completely reset the lamp (which is a challenge by itself) and then setup it again to be able to change anything in the lamp, but again, only for the first time. This doesn't make sense to me either.
4 ★Idea is good. More development needed. Looking forward to updates. Bluetooth range is either poor or issues with Bluetooth in general from the phone app. Re-establishing connection to light every time you want to change something is annoying but understand saves power etc. Light groups is good idea, working much better now after app update, one big thing missing is scheduling for light groups. Bluetooth remote works really well, fast and simple.
1 ★Absolutely worthless product, don't buy this light. How can the company even put this product on the marked. Can't connect, can't cange the color.... I have to use 1-2 houre every day just to turn on my light, it's terrible, I already glued it to my ceiling :( out of range all the time even if I an 5 cm away from it and I used 500 kr, like 80-90 euro. :(:(:(
4 ★Easy to start, easy to use, plenty of space for favorite colors. A bit confused about how to allow family members to control the lights as well. Have to use the same account? I wish I could make my own animations, i.e. choose colors and durations. In general I'd like to be able to program more, like different programs for each day, dusk simulator, etc. Sometimes there's a pretty bad lag when choosing a color from palette. Also it feels that the palette is a bit off compared to reality.
3 ★Updated: Still no email verification to my hotmail, but used my gmail account and then I was able to register. Immediately after setting up the lightbulb it mysteriously was out of range for a while. Seems a bit untrustworthy, but the app is easy to use. (First review: Not even able to register as a new user since I am not receiving the required email verification to even use the app.)
1 ★Worked for a whole week, now it won't connect no matter what. Reset the bulb, removed and added it back, reinstalled the application... No luck. Now I wish I had bought my expensive ceiling light from the leading manufacturer instead. I've now spent more time trying to get the app to work than installing the actual light. Super frustrating.
5 ★I think that the propper words for this app would be occasional and fun. Why? Unless you want to constantly change the colors in your room for some hidden DJ agendas, then it's used occasional. Fun when you want to make the room red for you and your girl :D I use it for my entire house, so i can say "thumbs up". Great app, and I understand (now) why the app needs our consent for GPS and other requests. Until now I never had any error in the app. It would be nice to allow us to edit or add themes
1 ★These bulbs/app were the worst purchase ever! First I updated the bulbs (8SMLm-w9w-E27)firmware and test those. On/off worked one time but on second time bulbs did not lit at all. I have tried to reinstall bulbs and app, changed bulbs to another place, and reset those with that "one second on, 6 sec off..." Also tried with two different devices (samsung tab and huawei P9). I can see the bulbs in the app but I can´t control them. Huge disappointment!
1 ★I wish i could make a video of how the lamp reacts to anything i do in the app, it's pure chaos. I basically just click at random places in the palette and see what happens now. Horrible experience, thinking of returning the lights. Edit: already had contact with you guys but i only got the tip to reset the lamp, to no avail.
