How to install Google Meet (original) APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Google Meet (original) APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

5 ★EDIT: Turning ON 'Saver Mode' in Google Meet app seems to have fix the issue. Thank you! PREVIOUS ISSUE: The phone is overheating while using Google Meet. The warning appears after about 30 min. Tried everything including Factory Reset. Details: Android 11, One UI v3.1 Samsung Galaxy M21 (SM-M215F/DS). Please fix asap as I need to use the app on daily basis!
3 ★Hello ,this update has solved all the problems which all were facing with the last update ,thank you for this update ,but still want some improvements like their should be screenrecording option with internal audio for students so even if they miss the class or they are in travelling they can easily record the class and watch it afterwords when they are free .Please take some steps about the screen recording for students . 3 ★Hi Google, This app is good but there are some problems. 1)Sometimes when I click on ask to join it shows that you are the only one here. I tried for many times but it shows the same, I have to unistall and again install it then it becomes OK. 2)There is no option for captions in hindi launguage. Kindly bring it and fix the problems that I am facing. Thank you
4 ★I am using this for two years for my online classes . I update meet to new version, but sometimes I can't see automatically the peoples in meet, So I need to pin them. Quality of Video and audio are good. But from the beginning I am suffering with a main problem.. The annoying is that they ask me to gave rating.. I am already gave you a good rating. Please fix this
2 ★This is SO annoying, when someone is presenting and u try to zoom in with ur fingers, it becomes unstable, the zoomed in screen moves on its own. Idk how to describe It, but try to observe. It happens every time and from every phone I use! Eh im not able to do my class work many times because of this! Oh and also, when ur on phone, the participants' videos are cut in half. I have to keep rotating my phone againnn and againnn. Do something about this, it is a huge problem for students like me!!!
2 ★Whenever I Switch to any other app and come back to google meet the screen goes black and the biggest problem is that while attending a meeting it will leave the meeting automaticly without touching the screen and if I join again the same problem happens . I hope you will solve this problem quickly so I gave it 2 stars.
2 ★This is the worst Google app I have ever used... 1.5gb gets exhausted in just 1.25 hours. I didn't expect this from Google.. if any call is received during meeting, it gets automatically disconnected. Lots of problems with this app..really feel frustrated and irritated. Other apps like zoom, ms teams are hundreds of times better than this.
2 ★I can't do with this app... whenever i try to speak my audio doesn't reach in meet..after all i can see all participants voices and their presentations. It's just started after the last 2 updations..😤
2 ★New version is having many issues .. In the middle of kids class it goes to not responding state and pop up comes to close app,wait, send feedback.. It happens everyday atleast 3 to 4 times.. And when ever we click on the link, it won't connect immediately it keeps on rotating and then connect.. Somes it will struck, and we are unable to do any actions like unmute,video off/on, leave meeting buttons
2 ★The app was having so many glitches which hamper the quality of the meeting. With is new update, my LENOVO TABLET M10 is not able to handle it properly even on Android 10! Please fix all the issues as soon as possible 🙏🏻 The meetings have so many sound breaks and frequent disconnectivity problems, but my network is very strong 4G network. Sometimes I am not able to see my teacher's screen share and I end up with a useless online class.. Please help 😃🙏🏻
2 ★Phone app is alright but when using it on a laptop in chrome the feature to zoom in or zoom out content screen shared by the organiser by attendees is not available. And because of this I as a student giving exam was not able to read the markings on diagram of the question. I also requested the teacher to share that pdf through our official college group as all other teachers do and she refused. So now I am failing in tha subject because of the lack of that feature which is in android app.
2 ★I can't use the microphone because it's easily damaged and takes time to repair. In fact, this app doesn't allow me to enter my class at a very important time. While I don't have to use a back pattern. This app keeps removing my face with a back pattern and I don’t want a pattern on my back. This app is inadequate also very not fully functional.Because I gave it 2 stars because I am not satisfied with the service provided by the Google Meet app.
