Received email from Lyft apologizing for the app crash! ~~~~~ 6/29/21 The Lyft driver app version is updated, so I restarted my phone and gave it a try. No longer broken! Some features missing but it is working again!! ~~~~~~ 6/17/21 Lyft Driver App keeps stopping!! I've been driving for almost 3 years. This has never happened before? I accept a ride, then the app disappears, poof!! right before navigation starts. I own a Pixel 4a (5G)
3 ★I have no problem with the app. It messes up sometimes but that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is how lyft isn't paying their drivers enough and how I haven't received any streaks or bonuses since I started they could be used for several things. Everyone just needs to get together & start complaining
1 ★The previous app update was better. This most recent app update has been giving me constant issues. I keep getting network connection issues but I have 5g internet speed so I know its not my service. Music will be playing but Lyft will be frozen. The passenger has had to navigate me cause the app kept freezing.
1 ★The Lyft driver app experience has declined steadily for 2 years now for the following reasons. Phone support is gone. Email based support is gone. Chat support is generally a useless waste of time. The app does not like drivers interacting with it while it thinks you are moving. Text communications with passengers has become ineffective, often none of the selectable text messages fit the situation I am in. Contacting a passenger by phone is 50/50 at best. Keep a Garmin ready at all times!
1 ★Updated app yesterday navigation is working again. Drove for a few hours. Tonight it won't let me go online. Hit the go online button, it appears to recognize but nothing happens. Really discouraging few weeks.
4 ★The more you drive and advance in driving ladder it seems i earn less money per hour. I am offered fewer promotions, and the ones i am offered are for a lesser amount of reward. I have stopped using the app 2 separate times and my driver level dropped both times. Guess it's bc i wasn't taking rides. Its not that i received bad reviews i just wasn't online. Both times when i returned to driving promos and $/hr started great but decreased noticeably over the 1st month meanwhile i took more trips
1 ★Always says there is some type of connection issue. Even when I have full service bars. Lyft's outsourced support can barely comprehend what your issue is. And if they do, it's the driver fault.
1 ★Since the latest up grade this app sucks. At least once a shift and sometimes more often when you tap on the button to pick up a rider the app locks into 'downloading route"mode and the only way out is to end the ride. I'm about ready to stop driving until this is fixed
2 ★Same here ever since the new update my app crashes once the navigation starts. Been driving the past few weeks with my old phone on the hotspot . It really sucks driving this way lots of connectivity issues. Lyft fix this already
1 ★Your app is just as useless as your customer support. Since the last update, it doesn't load at all or only extremely slowly, and the navigation is giving me no directions.
1 ★I had an issue regarding a streak bonus and contacted them through their help chat. After messaging with 5 different support staff over the course of two hours, without any resolution I eventually gave up. Extremely disappointed with lack of customer service!
1 ★The navigation is still broken. I can't get any assistance via customer service. None of the trouble shooting things they suggested worked to fix the problem.
