1 ★Horrible app!! Problems unfixable and hard to get help from support. They said they've escalated the issue...but more than 2 weeks later, I still can't get on the app to work!! I've been a dasher for a few years. There's always been small bugs but nothing like this. For a month I had to uninstall and reinstall the app every time I used it in order to log in. Now I can get in the app but all I see is a blank white screen. I've been top dasher, have great stats, but can't work now bc of the app!
1 ★As a person who delivered 800 orders, I'd say the app is easy when it works. Doing doordash isn't all that great. Sometimes you'd schedule a shift for a zone and when you select that zone at the time, it won't let you dash. It's rare to get orders with pay that compensates mileage and gas. Accepting every order isn't the best thing to do as you'd get the trash orders someone else declined (resturants will tell you). The app wont pay for tolls and won't tell you when you have to go through one.
2 ★Well, being a driver has its pros n cons. Sometimes, the customers' information will be incorrect, or the pin is in the wrong place, so keep a look out for the extra details, not just relay on maps. Hourly is a waste since it's about the same as tips per customer. I've noticed that I've been getting longer wait times to receive orders. More people are not tipping. And farther distances outside of zones.
1 ★6 Nov 23. Terrible app malfunctions just about each time I get an order. It sort of freezes, with a red circled X. I have to back out of the app a few times. To get it to properly function. This cost time, I have to pull over if driving to fix the glitch, plus you don't know where you're going till it starts functioning again and it may take up to ten minutes for it to work properly.
1 ★one star rating because of how many annoying things the programmers put in there, and I'm certain it's because they are told to do so. every notification is different, and sometimes it won't stop vibrating until you turn the screen off or pole down the notification bar. it's specifically designed so that it's very difficult do you use any other app while dashing. they do it on purpose, and we all know it
1 ★Incredibly buggy. It freezes and doesn't load properly or at all sometimes. Doordash support isn't very helpful most of the time, and you can tell they outsource it to people who don't understand or communicate very well. They should NOT allow customers to leave low ratings without requiring an explanation. And even then, they could be lying. How would you know it's not another dasher trying to weed out their competition? Especially with the area I'm in. I don't recommend this app.
1 ★Trying to sign in and stay signed in is a problem. Just keeps making me sign in over and over again. It acknowledge me and everything else. I get as far as the demo and once it's completed, I'm completing the process over and over like a loop video. Very frustrating. Customer service is no better. They don't comprehend too good. That makes it more frustrating. Wasted time and energy. 😒😡🤬
1 ★It has been 9 months since I left my last review and unfortunately as of today, 12.19th.2023, nothing has really changed. The only real changes are subtle visual layout changes. On top of the longstanding issues a new problem is the app often completely freezes when connected to 5G. Forcing me to restart my phone. No other app on my phone has that reaction. Between almost 2 years of unchanged performance issues and typically abysmal pay this app has earned nothing more than one star.
1 ★The app is constantly glinting. You'll schedule a Dash, go to log into to start dash. The app won't let you. "Error something went wrong". While the whole time still sending you notifications telling you you've scheduled to dash. While you miss out. Also, with everything that it tracks about you, I'm a bit curious why it won't keep track of your mileage. Maybe a new app developer should be added to the team to iron out the flaws. Since whoever is currently running things is missing the mark.
2 ★This app sucks. I would never choose to use this app if it weren't required to do the job. The map they flash on the screen to show you the pickup and delivery locations are a joke. You accept a delivery offer based on inadequate info, frequently while driving and only after you accept do you find out where you're really going. Intentionally misleading. There are many glitches to contend with while working and driving.
1 ★App is really bugged. Flash doesn't work for the in-app camera. Directions hardly ever populate properly no matter which navigation option I'm using. Schedule tells me I have dashes scheduled when I don't and it won't let me schedule. The map doesn't load most of the time. My selected zones are constantly being flooded with random zones so I have to go in there and uncheck a bunch. Customer service is no help. Pay is incredibly low.
1 ★I've been using this app for 5 years, and the app still crashes regularly, even during dashes. HTTP 400 errors abound. I have to force stop, then uninstall, reboot phone, and reinstall app on Wifi in order to have any success. Incoming text notifications are not confirmed by the software, resulting in lost orders. Offers come in with no notification, resulting in dashes being paused. Was writing this review and was paused. Email app support is atrocious. Would give 0 stars.
