서울삼일교회는 대한 예수교 장로회(고신)에 속한 교회로서종교 개혁과 칼빈주의에 입각한 개혁주의 신앙을 따라가며
일제 강점기때 순교정신으로 교회를 끝까지 사수한 후예로서
하나님 앞에서 (coramdeo)의 삶과 신앙의 정통성과
생활의 순결을 고수하는 신앙공동체입니다.
이 교회는 1973년 4월 5일 광명시에서 故박찬규 목사와
5명의 서리집사가 창립예배를 드림으로 설립되어
이듬해 개봉동으로 예배 처소를 옮겨 10년 간 지내다가
지금의 신월동 예배당(구. 신월동 성결교회당)으로 정착하여
증축하며 새 단장하여 지금까지 사용하고 있습니다.
김승제 담임목사님은 모태 신앙으로 중학교 때 하나님의 종의 소명을 받아
고려신학대학과 대학원 그리고 연세대학교 연합신학대학원을 졸업하였고
서울삼일교회 6대 담임목사로 2000년 4월 13일부터 부임하여
지금까지 한결같이 교회를 섬기고 있습니다.
