1 ★After six months of every day use by three employees, we can say with confidence - Vonage has a long way to go. Great idea, fantastic app, but the call quality is nothing short of horrendous. Even with an office internet speed of 200 Mbs, or with a full tower signal, you can count on getting disconnected a minimum of 5-10 times per day. Completely unacceptable.
2 ★I got the service/app right before the shutdown, I went through weeks of fighting to get my business number transferred to this account so I could have something more reliable, easier to use and accessible. I couldn't use it for months (while still paying for it) because of the shutdown, and now that my business is finally allowed to be opened I'm having all sorts of problems! This feels like the biggest waste of money and more stressful than it was supposed to be!
1 ★I have a desktop telephone, but I use the app when I am away from the office. It has never been the most reliable app, but it would work about 75 percent of the time. I have been having connectivity issues with this app for months now almost every time I use it. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, but it did not help. What's the point of having the app if you can't send or receive calls. I am going to look into whether calls can be forwarded to the cellphone the old fashioned way.
2 ★I give it 2 stars because the app is ok BUT the blocking feature doesn't work. I've blocked spam calls but the same numbers are allowed to call back. Very annoying to have a block feature that doesn't work and YES I do have the updated version. So please fix the blocking of spam calls. Vonage will definitely be a 5 star app when this exasperating issue is solved.
1 ★No call vibration is an ongoing issue recently, delete/reinstalled fixed it briefly but I'm not doing that everyday. Samsung Galaxy and Pixel 7 Pro have been effected, so maybe an android problem? Either way very frustrating, we loved Vonage when we switched 5 years ago but lately constant problems are mounting from erroneous billing issues and app updates that are steps backward. Hopeful they get it sorted or we will be looking elsewhere.
2 ★Edited to say thank you for your response to my feedback! You've made the app more difficult to use. 1. Returning missed calls 2. from a contact with more than one phone number...There should be a one touch way to return a missed call. Now you must click on the missed call, then click on call details then pick from any of the contact's phone numbers, not knowing which one they called from. Too many clicks and not enough information on what number the call originated from.
1 ★The calls only sometimes come through, if I get a Messenger call during a Vonage phone call all bluetooth capability disappears and I'm left having to have the phone against my head while trying to type case notes, contact names don't update, call quality is terrible a lot of the time, calls drop when I leave WiFi, instead of just transferring over to phone data regardless of the settings, the call logs are inaccurate if I go out of cell or wifi range... There's more but I ran out of space.....
1 ★App is horrible. A good portion of my calls don't come through. They call it the mobile plan, yet if you are on a personal call, there is no way to notify you that a call is coming in. The voicemail volume keeps going low. Finally, call disconnects frequently with customer due to network issue. I won't be renewing my contract.
1 ★Absolutely terrible app. No calls connectivity except on wifi in weeks! I have a business to run and I'm losing a ton of money not getting the calls in the app. I see all these other complaints about it but no fixes or even an acknowledgement theres a problem being worked on. Off and on connectivity problems keep cropping up. Update: Only way to contact support is by email online. It took them 9 days to respond and by then the problem was fixed response was that it must be my ISP causing it.
1 ★During the call from app, there are many issues. voice gets broken down, they can't hear me(completely silence), my voice is getting delayed, when dialing number they also get delayed typing.....etc. many many issues, double thinking if we should even continue to have this service. I don't want to lose my customers because they can't hear me. Shopping around for better service, unless this gets mixed.
1 ★Addendum app is unusable on Android. Half the calls I receive the other side cannot hear me. VERY FRUSTRATING as that is the point to the app to make and receive phone calls. Music does not pause when answering calls. So then you need to fiddle around to pause the music while trying to understand what your customer is saying.
1 ★Worked great up until a few days ago. After every call I have to go into my phone settings and force the app to stop running. If I regect a call I have to go in and do the same thing or it will regect incoming coming calls when I attempt to answer. I have tried rebooting and reinstalling the app. Nothong works. Very counter productive. If they fix the app I will update this review and make it a 5 star.
