Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

5 ★SOS! I can not log into my account and I can't restore the payment. So, my account is disabled for the time being and I can't make any phone calls. UPDATE: I logged a support ticket and it turns out that having multiple google accounts causes issues when restoring payment. If anyone else's having difficulties; uninstall bria then use login to the desktop version of the play store and send it to your phone for installation.
1 ★I pay for the monthly subscription and the app keeps trying to register. And when I am able to connect to it and on a call it logs out and leaving the call open. This is making my job very difficult. I used to count on this app for work and now I can't count on it. Is always saying "registration failed".
1 ★Such a shame that Counterpath have gone over to a subscription service. Their previous app worked well with my various VoIP accounts but reinstalling has lead to the old version not working at all. Why anyone would want to pay a subscription to a VoIP trucking provider and for a client I have no idea. My suggestion is find a voip provider that has their own native app or look at ZoiPer premium. Its configuration just works, it sets up encrypted connections with ease and my experience is great.
3 ★Hello I'm not receiving incoming calls nor push notifications from bria. I have switched between "standard, continuous, single device emulation, and single device take over" to no avail. I can call out fine, but incoming, and push, are a conundrum for me. I'm having to rely on zoiper pro for my incoming/push services now; I do have multiple registration allowed by my provider. And I have allowed my device to not kill Bria while running in background and to ignore battery optimization still nada
4 ★Like the product but HATE the pricing. its NEVER paid for. This application is priced like its a SaaS, likely because its for business use mainly. Problem is the PLAY store ecosystem is not accounting ot IT administrative friendly. Users are nickel and dimed each month or once per year, leading to an onslaught of Expense reports. SMBs are likely not going to want to implement an elaborate EMM system. if you want a SaaS pricing model than take it out of the play store and implement tokens or keys (like an in app purchase which would allow centralized management and billing for accounting and IT - assuming you build a backend SaaS admin center) tied to subscriptions, leverage the play store as a basic update distribution mechanism. Way too painful in its current state.
3 ★Good app, imperfect: the iOS version works better as in reliability it will work in background (enabled in settings everywhere). Also I don't particularly appreciate the service: happier to spend a one off and only pay for the service should I actually wish to use Bria's push service - which I don't see necessary for my use case. Long time CSipSimple user, all the more unhappy to need to pay for something that can be free. Having multiple devices it could (but does not) allow sharing of configs
4 ★Knocking off a star because they got rid of the Widget. Works great once you figure out how to configure it. Not really CounterPath's issue because SIP services are annoying to begin with. Bria's support team is awesome though and came through for me even when the SIP vendor left me high and dry. Thank you!!!
1 ★I am having a problem with the app. I have to always uninstall and reinstall because after awhile it would say subscription expired! I have a one year subscription! I emailed, but no response yet. - second review based on experience ----- I'm always experiencing 480 - service unavailable error. Cannot make outbound calls. No help available for this error. 5 ★Solid app for use with voip.ms trunking and others. I've been using Bria for about a year now for use with my voip.ms DID, as well as several DIDs/extensions with various IPPBXs I manage for clients. It's easy to set up, easy to use, and plays nicely with Bluetooth. It's a solid softphone app.
1 ★I opted for the 14 day trial period and turns out I don't need it. Their tech support won't cancel it saying it can only be cancelled by Google Play under subscriptions. It doesn't show under subscriptions as only "paid" subscriptions show up. So until they take my money, I can't cancel.
1 ★I honestly recommend Groundwire. Same features and only payable once, no subscriptions. Paradox here is that Bria for PC is available for onetime price, unlike the android app. Edit to respond to developer: GroundWire also works with latest android with no subscription model. If you can prove me wrong, I will subscribe and edit this review. :)
1 ★Hi, I am using Samsung note 10+. Since I have updated the application, I can see incoming call ringing but can't pickup. It keep on ringing, it doesn't allow me to pick it up. To accept the call we have to right swap. As i do right swap to pick up the call, it becomes a blank screen and keep on ringing. After it becomes missed call then only I call back. Please fix this issue.
