1 ★Awful, just absolute garbage. Ever since the recent update, the swipe prompt fails to load, authentication times out and I'm I'm locked out of email. This is the worst app in existence. It's painfully unfriendly to install and pair and once you finally get it, it fails to prompt for a swipe so I can't connect regardless. I'm forced to use this to access work email, but since it refuses to work, I have no access at all. I'd give zero stars if possible.
2 ★2D barcode scanner for manual auth renders the camera image incorrectly. Image is stretched vertically so the barcode won't scan. All other apps on my phone display the image from the camera correctly and I can scan the barcode using any other app (camera, 2d barcode app, lens, etc.) but not PingID. Unable to authenticate to my work PC when offline now.
2 ★Issue 1: App re-opens after I back out of it, every time. Why? Issue 2: Could you please add an option to disable the "number-flip" graphics? Yes, it's cool but when you use this 100 times a day, waiting for the flip and having it pause / hesitate mid-flip every time you need a new number is so very annoying. Samsung S9+ Thank you
5 ★It works well with keeping information safe for your company. And security is a #1 priority. Especially online.
4 ★It works fine most of the time, but it is often blocked and not functiomal whenevr other screen overlay apps are used e.g. FB messenger, calculator, browser, etc.. usually the fix is phone restart. thats very anoying and it should be fixed. Reply on dev reply: dont think its a device issue, i am getting a message from the app that cannot function, can provide screenshot if you need for troubleshooting
2 ★When are you going to enhance the app to bring back Draw Over functionality. With Android 10 , looks like that functionality seems to be lost. I literally have to search Ping ID notification from 100s of notification and then click Approve. Previously it was working perfect , I just had to unlock phone with fingerprint and the same fingerprint used to work ...since the app used to open by itself. Now after Android 10 upgrade.. I have to unlock phone.. go to notifications and search for Ping ID.
4 ★After latest update, it hung up so i uninstalled, reinstalled, and paired ok but when i go to complete my profile it keeps saying server not available please try later which is frustrating as i need this to open any of my work programs. Luckily i have it on a backup device but this needs to be fixed. I have a Samsung S8. Update: The fix you gave me worked. Thank you for your prompt response much appreciated.
1 ★Suddenly stopped working for authentication at my company. After our internal team fixed the issue, I have been unable to re-pair my phone. There seems to be a lot of issues with our company IT dept. working with this service. I would not recommend at this time.
1 ★Meh. Had to install this for work. It is going on a spare, factory reset phone that will only be on when needed. I did get a popup during pairing that the "device lock" was disabled. Took a bit to figure out it meant the screen lock. It is a poor choice of wording given the possible meanings of a "locked" phone.
5 ★This has been a frustrating experience. The app goes straight to the pairing screen without giving me the option to enter an email to send the code to. I can't pair my phone without the code! Why is it skipping the first screen?
4 ★It works just fine but since the Android 10 upgrade the authentication screen no longer pops up. I need to go to my notifications and approve or deny from there. I don't know what happened but it's evident that moving to Android 10 broke something. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.
2 ★I hate the swiping feature. Why can't I just get a push notification that appears as a notification that I can tap approve or deny. I get that notification some times and then it disappears and I have swipe instead which takes an extra few seconds to load sometimes causing me to time out. It's really stupid and a bad design why are there no options for this?
