4 ★I like the security and the updates are coming along nicely. PLEASE add a "mark as unread" button while an e-mail is open, as well as while viewing the mailbox.

ProtonMail has been exceptional in every way, and I highly recommend it. This is more important than ever with all the cyber security issues in this day and age. Worth every penny!
5 ★This email service and this app are both great! The app works with no problems on my OnePlus 8 and the company is continuously working to make it even better. The only thing I can't do on my phone is create a mail rule for senders, but honestly, I'm being picky about that because the app has really been flawless. The service actually blocks spam that Gmail lets in, so I feel more secure using this email for private information.
2 ★Proton programmers need to check their work more closely! I liked the previous version and liked the concept of secure VPN and encrypted email. However, after upgrading, I cannot attach files to an email easily. When selecting to attach a file, the app refuses to allow a landscape display! Then the options available don't include the search feature to attach a saved file. Come on guys, don't release versions until you've error checked all platforms! Kevin
1 ★Terrible troubles with a Red Alert banner splashing on my screen and it is my hope it will be resolved. At least their Support Team cares enough to try and help before giving up. Support has been good but the app has cliches.
2 ★Log in issues. Can not log in via app as it says invalid credentials, yet I can log in from a laptop with the exact same credentials s the app and do so without an issue. Fix the issue please. Update: all working now. Thanks
4 ★Wouldn't it be nice if each mail was shown as a single notification, instead of showing all unread mails as a single one? Plus, the notifications shows the mails that had been read through my computer after being received in the phone. So, not showing those would be great!
3 ★Was about to make this my main email and pay for it.then I couldn't log on.Went on PC to sort it out. Endless captchas not working,had to reset password.You can't reset password without deleting all email.I'm sick of Google spying on my emails for advertising,was hoping this would be a trusted alternative.I like security, but I'm not running a crime ring, and there should be a setting to turn this delete feature off. Can't chance losing important past email. Also no widget.
4 ★The app got significantly better over time. Most of the major issues are fix now. On top the interface looks really clean and privacy is topnotch. But at the moment there is no support for schedule email's, which is a major bummer. If ProtoMail would Add this feature I could finally move away from Gmail and would consider to purchase the monthly subscription.
5 ★Fantastic application although I would like the option to preview attachments such as an excel spreadsheet for example. The preview feature is available for the website version though which is good.
3 ★App is self closing when i press recent apps button on phone. Why? Galaxy s10 android 10 exynos Otherwise great! 👍 But needs fixing ...Or the developers wrote it on purpose... to close itself when i try to switch between apps... Why? 🤔
4 ★I love this email. My rating is a 4 just because of not having enough folders. I actually was moving my email to tutanota because they allow more folders. While moving my email over I realized I like protonmail much more. I will just have to deal with not having enough folders.
