4 ★Would give a 5. App is perfect. But recently have been having lots of issues, some messages are coming in either as double or from "multiple chats" when I look at a computer and only have 1 message. I uninstalled and reinstalled today and all the messages that haven't been read were marked as read, yet the time last online was before the message sent.
4 ★The app is amazing as I've used it to interact with my bf for about 3 years now and we are happy to have such an app to communicate through and be able to use stickers. However i do have one issue that started recently. For some reason when i get a notification from the app I get a major text box that forces my phone to turn on and display the message. I have no idea why this started or how to remove it.
2 ★One of the WORST notification systems of all times. Could be watching a video or typing when suddenly, Telegram's hot list of notifications covers the ENTIRE screen. Usually when typing and a tg notification appears, it shoves down the keyboard, eats a tap, then redirects you out of the place you were typing so you better PRAY that it's stored in a cache. Oh, and then it also counts the TG message as read with no "mark unread" feature, so you gotta deal with that too.
1 ★My rating solely relies on "new feature" - Stories. I don't want another IG wannabe, I want good, reliable messaging and calling app that Telegram always used to be. With the Stories feature, I had to delete all contacts from the app so they won’t appear on top of the screen. Last resort was that featured story by the Telegram team cannot be hidden or deleted. I think disabling stories all together is no brainer "new" feature that TG need to add. I believe it’s not only me who feels that way.
1 ★I'm so mad about the recent update adding "Stories". It's cluttery, takes up more space both in app and on my phone's memory, and I never wanted it. The whole reason I switched from Kik to Telegram was to get away from that garbage, now here it is on this one. It's ridiculous that there is no option to disable this "feature". I'll be uninstalling until such a feature exists, and I'll be looking for another more user-conscious app.
1 ★This app has gotten so hard to use. The emoji categories menu is cramped into a tiny space to make room for an ad for Premium. So many things are animated or cluttered now. And the new Stories feature is distracting and breaks the functionally of sliding to switch to archived stories. Every single update makes the Telegram app more cluttered and harder to use. EDIT: They did it yet again. The ARCHIVED STORES function IS BROKEN because of your intrusive Stories notification!!!!!!!!!!
1 ★I knew this would happen. They got the premium telegram so the free telegram is starting to suck now. I get notifications but when I open the app in stuck on "connecting" for a whole minute before the app updates and my messages show. They got rid of the self destruct photo feature. Everything is going behind a pay wall. Time to start looking for something else. This went from a 10 star app to garbage like the rest of the Internet.
2 ★It's about a month that It has some bothering issues , it doesn't upload the chats even with the excellent connection i have to close the app once and reopen but it only works for 2 or 3 minutes. Also sometimes it automatically changes the color of my chats and theme by itself. It's really getting annoying
2 ★The apps gotten more bloated over the years and isn't as useful as it used to be. Especially now with story's. My reasonably sized phone screen now has get another junk feature button. "Story's" taking up space that can't be turned off nor will it let me remove or even hide the tool bar on top. I'll be installing an older version of the app and using that until Telegram gives control back to its userbase.
3 ★Generally I love this app. The introduction of Stories and the inability to turn it off completely is annoying. Stories seem entirely unnecessary when you can send video messages and voice messages already, and quite frankly, I don't care about stories from Telegram. Please add a feature to disable stories.
4 ★Great interface, user friendly, would have gotten 5 stars but this app has flaws that needs to be worked on. It tells me contacts that I deleted like 2 to 3 years ago joined telegram. It's not so good, delete past records of contacts in your database and synchronize just the present contact. Secondly, enable a download button so downloaded files can be easily accessed. Thanks.
2 ★I like the app overall, but it refuses to honor my do not disturb setting and wakes me up with notifications in the middle of the night. I've tried checking all the settings i can think of and have updated to the latest version, but it just dinged now with do not disturb turned on. My phone should be silent, but Telegram refuses to shut up when I'm sleeping!
