Description

Use the Hue Sync mobile app and the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box to get lights that dance, flash, dim, and brighten with the content on your TV screen. Sync your on-screen TV content to your Philips Hue smart lights for a fast, seamless display of colorful light that responds to and reflects what you watch or listen to.

SYNC PHILIPS HUE LIGHTS WITH YOUR HOME THEATER
You’ve heard of surround sound, but have you heard of surround lighting? Expand your home theater to include your smart lights, which respond to the content on your TV screen.

EASY TO INSTALL, SET UP, AND USE
A simple setup allows you to easily connect to your Hue Bridge and use your sync box with any TV and HDMI device. Control your entertainment experience and sync box any way you want: with the app, on-product control button, any infrared TV remote, or your voice via Amazon Alexa, Siri, and the Google Assistant.

PERSONALIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Use in-app controls and settings to make your entertainment experience your own. Customize sync settings by controlling the brightness and speed of the light effects.

CHOOSE YOUR SYNC MODE
Switch between video, game, and audio modes with the touch of a button. Choose light settings in each mode to tailor your entertainment experience even more.

POWER ON AUTOMATICALLY
Use the Hue Sync mobile app to set your sync box to come on automatically — or even switch input modes — when it detects that your connected HDMI device powers on.

ADD UP TO 10 LIGHTS
Create an Entertainment area in the original Hue app to sync up to 10 color-capable Philips Hue lights with the content on your TV screen.

CONNECT UP TO 4 HDMI DEVICES
The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box has four HDMI inputs, allowing you to connect multiple media devices, such as gaming consoles and streaming devices, to your Hue smart lighting setup.

SUPPORTS HIGH-QUALITY VIDEO FORMATS The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box is compatible with 4K, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, letting you enjoy the highest quality picture you can get at home — all while your Philips Hue smart lights sync to give you surround lighting.

HUE BRIDGE REQUIRED
The Philips Hue Bridge acts as the middleman between your lights, the Hue Sync mobile app, and the sync box, allowing you to sync your smart lights with your TV screen for surround lighting. The sync box requires the Hue Bridge V2.

GET AN IMMERSIVE ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE
Watch movies and play video games like never before with the Hue Sync mobile app and the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. Learn more about the sync box at www.philips-hue.com/syncbox.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

4 ★Had a lot of initial hiccups, but love this thing now. Occasionally I'll have to reset it; randomly it will go an HD version of static
3 ★Got the HUE Sync Box up and running, but I wonder why it is a separate app and not part of the HUE app. Trying to set up Google Assistent fails when I try to link my account; (because the app uses a browser that doesn't support JavaScript). I also set up two entertainment area's, one for movies that includes all my lights in the living room and one for normal TV shows, where I want some lights to work normal. But I'm only able to change the entertainment area with the app. As switching area's isn't supported as an action by the HUE dimmer.
2 ★Always stuck "Connecting" I love it when it works... But as soon as I change ANYTHING... Inputs or speed or off then on again... Or even brightness, it goes from Synced to Connecting. And I lose all controls. They simply freeze up. I have to physically repair to connection about 2 times a day.
1 ★Once the lights are syncing the app just says connecting and I can't control my lights, with sync app or the Hue app, or use the sync app at all. I have to turn off my TV to get the lights to shut off. I really want to love this but just can't do it at this time since I can't do anything to love it
5 ★After reading some reviews about the Hue Sync box we were very reluctant to buy it but we did. It was an absolute pain to set up but we persevered and it paid off. We set it up as described but we used the coloured buttons on the TV remote to operate the Sync box. Red button to switch unit off. Green button to switch unit on. Yellow button to switch light sync on/off. HDMIs from Sky & DVD in to Sync box, sync box out to sound bar, sound bar to TV. Works flawlessly
1 ★Doesn't work... always connecting. Well, you would think spending 600 pound on the sync box and lights for it NOT to work.... as the reviews say, always trying to connect. Had it working once in 2 days for about an hour. Utter waste of money, no chat available from Philips POOR!!
3 ★Works half the time but when it works, it's great. It needs to catch up to dolby vision.
2 ★Pls allow individual lights brightness changes. Also even though my settings are set to switch lights off when sync stops it still leaves one or two random lights on on dim setting.
1 ★Thus far my experience with the hue sync has been hit and miss. I love it when it works. But most of the time it says connecting on the app and I can never get it to start syncing. Please send a patch or update for this thing. Love hue lights just not the apps.
1 ★Was great, not sure what happened but the box works but won't connect to the app to sync (S10+)
4 ★Really satisfied with the app but which there was an option for lights to return to original settings after you end sync... im always having to ask Google to change colors and brightness back to normal
1 ★Useless. Added an Entertainment Area, but can't select it in the app. Therefore, my Sync Box won't control the lights in my room. Absolute garbage.
