How to install eFamilyCloud APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download eFamilyCloud APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.efamily.cloud-v1.1.9-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★The latest version has very high power consumption. Just leaving it running in the background prompted my S8 to give a warning about high battery use. It is also very sluggish especially if it hasn't been used for a few hours. It often will not respond to a tap. Apple version seems fine, it is just the Android app.
5 ★The issue was my phone and Android version were too old. I'll leave the previous review in case it helps others ///// I used to really like this app. After last upgrade I have to RE-LOGIN every time. Been in touch with developer...seemed like was going to attempt to work w me but had not. Got the outlets. ...too costly to replace ...stuck w this app. Seek outlets that don't require using this efamily Cloud app.
1 ★Buggy App: Clash between two Apps (Smart Life & eFamily-cloud) that use the same Smart Life Service on IFTTT, so that only ONE of these can be linked. DEVELOPER CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO REPLY TO EMAILS. I wish I'd never bought their "Smart" products. WHAT'S THE USE OF A SMART APP/PRODUCT IF YOU CAN'T AUTOMATE TASKS??!!! Never again buying a product that uses this App!
2 ★For myself eFamilyCloud App fails on a fairly regular basis indicating smart plug "offline". I visually check smart plug and it shows it's "online". I then have to "force stop" App and then restart App to get eFamilyCloud to operate correctly. Sometimes this procedure takes several attempts. Pity as when eFamilyCloud operates correctly it's great.
1 ★Garbage. When it FINALLY connected, everything said it was offline.
4 ★Quite good. The ability to have some automation of lighting coming on at sunset is handy. Would be even better if you could tweak the parameters of that to say sunset minus x amount of minutes. I find that at sunset that my lights were actually needed about half an hour ago.
2 ★Been using this app to connect plugs and bulbs to Alexa. Today everything stopped working and when I load the app it says my log in has expired. Try to re-login, claims incorrect details. Clicked forgot password and got a verification code, typed this in, put in new password and it claims the code is wrong. How can anyone use an app that refuses to let you log into it?? Absolute joke.
1 ★worked for several months, then abruptly stopped communicating with Google Home. Probably a software issue with one of the apps updating, but I haven't found any fix for it yet. Honestly frustrating, considering it would be fine if the authors just didn't touch their device after I bought it.
2 ★Initially great but after moving to new ISP with new router not been able to connect the power strip. During search process, the strip turns off, then on but not connecting at all. Switched router to only 2.4 but still unable to set up. Unfortunately the app's help file not in clearest English and cannot see what issue is.
4 ★Works like expected. Have 6 wall sockets working now. Application is always functional. A few improvement proposals send to the developer. The minute timer is great! English language may need minor updates. Really missing: app to detect you are home or have left your Wi-Fi area.
2 ★For the scene and automation, good feature but seriously you'd want me to scroll up/down (unable to type) for the "time left" using seconds? I wanna set automation to 6hrs, I'm gonna scroll to 21,600secs (as there were no options to choose mins/hrs)? Other than that everything's good. But pls fix and I'll give 5 stars. 😉 Ty!
1 ★Like many others have stated after changing my router as part of a package upgrade my Alexa no longer recognises the efamilycloud smart plugs. They will work through the efamilycloud app but Alexa no longer discovers them and so the whole point of buying them has been made redundant! If there has been some kind of glitch with a new update or something like that then the products should be recalled and replaced or at least the customers should be refunded.
