How can I get rid of ads?
Ads may be removed through an in-app purchase which may be found from the cogwheel menu in the top right corner.

Why can't I add a certain SoundCloud song/playlist/artist to my playlist?
There is a number of possible reasons. Sometimes the content uploader may turn off streaming. Sometimes SoundCloud may have trouble sending the file data, etc...

My lights start to lag or get unresponsive. Sometimes they continue flashing even after I turn off the music. What's happening?

The Hue bridge can only handle so many requests a second before it starts to queue any additional, incoming requests to be run at a later time. Try lowering the beat sensitivity if you notice this happening to you.
It is also recommended to not run several Hue applications at once as they may clog your system and cause performance degradation.
For best performance, it's recommended to use v2 of the Hue bridge.

Is Huegasm available on any other platforms?
Huegasm is also available as a iOS app and a Chrome browser extension.
The extension may listen for music straight from your browser tab, microphone or even your entire computer system.

2 ★Couldn't you work around the streaming issue by just using the microphone to control the lights based on rhythm... I feel like most people use this on an Android device not a computer so IDK why you would use chrome extensions once again I might have no clue what I'm talking about

2 ★I really want to like this app, I have no problem with a restriction to only local music, but frankly it's unusable. Adding songs is an exercise in frustration - sometimes the song will show up, most times it won't and you have to try to add it again. And then randomly trying to add a song will restart the app, losing everything you've managed to add and putting you right back to square one. It's a real shame because it does seem fairly responsive when it can actually play something. But it certainly isn't worth the Herculean effort it takes to get to that point.

1 ★Wont playback songs on the playlist

3 ★Really want to love this app, but I wish it would pull my local song library automatically and save it, rather than me having to manually put songs in every time I reopen the app. The feature is great, it's just inconvenient and makes me lean towards the worse quality microphone based apps.

3 ★It's ok but no option to sync music with Spotify or a competent music app makes it pretty useless.

3 ★Wish I didn't have to revert to music saved on my phone but I do. I won't use up phone space on things I can stream. It either lags or crashes. Won't run in background with my other app that does the same thing but with different bulbs. The chrome app works just as good. I'll use that more then this.
