Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This app use to be great but no is total junk. I get an "upgrade to pro" prompt every 2 minutes which kills my connection. When clicking the upgrade prompt I get an "already upgraded" reply which re-establilshes my connection. This app has becoming annoying and unusable. Even worse the developer is impossible to get a reply from. Don't waste your money.
5 ★Interface is user friendly and the help menu is useful. I haven't noticed any connection issues so far, or received any nasty messages from my carrier. This works as advertised, thank you to the developers! Suggestion: I would like to be able to change the SSID and password settings (maybe this is already possible, and I haven't noticed it)
5 ★Amazing experience overall with software so far, as it allows me to create a hotspot even though my parents have that feature turned off on verizon. This allowed me to connect my Windows 7 laptop to the internet even though I'm at a camp ground, no where near a WiFi or ethernet network connection. Now, for people who want to use it with Minecraft, (java edition) you'll need to use a 3rd party launcher that supports setting a proxy, as the official launcher doesn't support at least for me.
5 ★I'm amazed that this app has been able to fix a problem that att has been trying and failing to deliver for me. I am trying to buy the full version now, it's worth every penny, but in order to do that I need to use the app for another 10 minutes to transfer some funds on my computer but I've reached my data limit. The irony is palpable. Highly recommend this app though... I'm gonna go look up "irony" & "palpable" in my paper dictionary to see how badly I just screwed up that last sentence 😅
5 ★Update: Giving another star after paying the $5, my speeds got much better. That being said, this app has saved my butt maaaaannny times even using the free version. Using my phone as a range extender has proven useful and has added value to my life. I spend a ton of time in my car, and I use a tiny PC to game on (it was $50 used and plays my games). Instead of buying a wifi card, I just use this and I don't have to eat up a USB port. Yes the PC has wifi, but it doesn't reach work from my car.
3 ★It works great for normal web browsing, but I can't do simple things such as check my e-mail using Mozilla Thunderbird or joining a voice channel on Discord. I did pay $10 for pro, and I'm not going to say it's a terrible app. You just get half the internet. If I use the regular hotspot on my phone in settings, I'm able to connect to everything without problem.
5 ★Works great. No fuss. Glad I paid for pro. I'm not sure why, but it never actually worked when I had the free version. To be honest I wasn't really thinking when I bought it since I had no reason to expect it actually did work. Also one of the first apps I have actually gone and paid for. The advantage of pushing a local WAP that is independent of the existing pre-installed service is huge for me right now since I don't have an ISP for my other devices to connect to internet.
3 ★This app allows you to share internet to other Android devices via Wi-Fi Hotspot but you have to also have this app installed on the other Android devices. I wanted to allow my Roku or Amazon Fire devices to connect to it but I don't think that is possible. I wish this worked as easily as the description would have you believe. At least this version is free but comes with a low data limit.
1 ★I don't use my hotspot much but found this while looking for a way use my hotspot to transfer files w/o a separate router(don't think it's possible if the device is the one w/ the files). And if this app couldn't help, I wanted to at least see if this bypassed the carriers hotspot management..maybe it's a faster connection. Either way, it did not work. It activated the wifi and not the hotspot..might be the same thing hardware wise. My laptop connects, but no internet.
5 ★I really like that I could give my friend internet whenever my hotspot ran out with AT&t. However, with the passwords of this app it would unpredictably shut off and I don't know if this has been fixed or not. This is my first night trying to in a while and trust me I'll be back on here if there's any issues and I'll explain what it is but that's the only issue is that it shuts off sometimes and I have it unrestricted on my battery and you know I have. I gave it all permissions and all notificat
5 ★Great app! I'm on a grandfathered unlimited plan and my normal tether is limited to unusable speeds and this works way better. It even works with wifi sharing. Exactly what I needed to sync up my S7 to my s21. 2 quick notes for others. Proxy option works ok but it works best when you use the app on both devices and it connects with VPN (key logo in notification bar). Make sure to set the app to unrestricted battery mode and check both mobile data options to avoid disconnects.
5 ★Over all... fantastic! I bought the previous version, they've done a great job! They leave it wide open, so you should give them something... no bandwidth limits, I tax this thing hard with multiple devices doing weird things... 90% It handles the requests... only a few secure network issues won't Allow for a connection... but normal stuff outside of super secure private networks, this is so awesome!
