1 ★Not happy that they take 1.01 out your bank without letting you know when you register a card that you apparently have to do in order to book a taxi that you want to pay with cash wouldn't even give a star no contact details on the app at all
1 ★Accepted my booking via the app; when I called after 20 minutes they said "we have no drivers" ? We could have previously caught a bus but this option was lost after 23:00 Why accept the booking, absolutely appalling !
1 ★Buggy at best, rides cancelled randomly. Had an important ride to the jobcentre pre booked for 11:30am on 25/07/2022, the company cancelled the ride at 11:29am with no reason given, and there were no taxis available across any of the companies until 12:56pm Really not helpful.
1 ★Very poor app. Booked first trip online but app showed no trips booked. Booked next trip on phone, got confirmation text, app still shows no trips booked.
5 ★Exceptional service polite and engaging throughout the journey as well as courteous when dropping me off. Greatly appreciated after a long and hard day at work!
1 ★over £1.50 difference between inbound and outbound journey confusion over card payment led to a doorstep stand off with an apologetic driver, a bloke on the phone and ourselves, customer service shocking, prices have shot up since the app has been introduced. AVOID.
1 ★Make sure you use your sat nav with them. They're notorious for taking advantage when they can especially if you're not local. Just download uber..
1 ★Didn't receive a code by email so unable to complete setup. Tried resending but still no code. Checked spam and marketing folders too and no code. Waste of time.
1 ★I boarded the taxi on the app said different fare cash booking(£4.20), the driver got me to my destination and initially he said a different fare(£4) short changed me I asked if the fare wasn't £4 he said no actually its( £4.50)I was gobsmacked thought I was losing it and so I gave benefit of the doubt I left the cab luckily as I booked on the app the e-reciept came through the email and said( £ 3.90) So I quickly called the cab office to ask whybthis was happening the driver ripped me off 60p
2 ★I used this app for 2months, up until now which I have uninstalled this app. Made bookings and need to wait for 15-20mins. Then, the bookings can canceled by default (not by me).
5 ★I found this app very easy to use and book my return journey from Elmswood Gardens GP Surgery/ Sherwood Health Centre, back home to my flat in Winchester Court, Chestnut Walk, Sherwood. The driver was very helpful and friendly, especially as I am very disabled and use a Rollator to help me mobilise. He helped me get into his taxi, as it is difficult for me to lift my feet into the car by myself . On arrival at Winchester Court, the driver did all he could to help me get out of the car. He then made sure that I was standing up safely, by holding one of my arms ; he had previously already got my Rollator out of the boot of his taxi, and had got it ready for me to use, ensuring that the brakes were on for safety. However, as there was a step that I had to take, in order to get onto the pavement outside Winchester Court, he continued to hold my arm, to aid me in stepping onto this pavement , so I could get hold of my Rollator. But he didn't leave me until he felt sure that I was safe on my own 2 feet! 😁🤗 A good experience all round; I will continue to use DG Taxis, and I definitely recommend them! 👍 Kind regards to all the team, Kryssy x [Krystyna Barry]
4 ★T he actual ordering of the taxi was brilliant, but how come I have been charged £1.01 to add my debit card onto the app, now I dont have enough money to pay my council tax
